The seal is damaged on most of the bags
These would be very convenient if they were good enough in quality. Most of the bags have seals that do not work, they tear off the bag when opened. So now youâre not able to seal them and it can get very messy. The quality is not good.

I have been using Stink Free Cat Litter Waste Collection Bags for many years. Initially, I had four, now I have three indoor-only cats. Before I discovered these waste bags I was using gallon zip-closed freezer bags. I had to throw a bag out as soon as I collected the waste. Those bags did nothing to stop the odor. These waste bags, on the other hand, are absolutely “stink free”! One bag will hold two days of my cats’ waste. That means I can keep the bag overnight without any odor. Also, I do not have to worry about odor if I cannot throw the bag out right away! Recently, I realized that not only can I use these bags for waste, I can use them for stink free furball clean-up! Although this double-duty results in my using more waste bags, I will gladly purchase as many as needed! I do not use the scoop that the bags are marketed for; I use my own scoop (easier for me to use than the stink free scoop). Just wish the bag opening was wider. However, that is an enhancement I can live without and does not reduce the number of stars for these bags!

Bags are poor quality
I’ve used these stink free bags for several years and been very happy. I bought a bunch and finally ran out earlier this year. I purchased a box of 10 bags again expecting the same product but unfortunately they are much lower quality. The plastic bags are thin so they rip easily and are very difficult to seal so it doesn’t keep in the stink like advertised. I missed the return window so I’m stuck – ugh!!!

Easy to use, odor free, large zip bags
Weâve been using this system for MANY years and have been very satisfied with it. We use the scoop that is made to be used with the bags. Some people didnât seem to realize that, of course, you have to break up the clumps. The scoop does this easily. The bags seal and have NO odor in the trash bin! We have two cats and one bag takes care of one dayâs waste. One time several years ago they must have had a problem because the odor was not sealed in, but that was corrected with the next order. We order in bulk- 12 packages which is 252 bags. Almost 1/2 price from amazon warehouse, just repackaged!!! There are no negatives! Donât listen to the naysayers.

I’ve been using this product for our cat’s litter box for quite a few years. To save on shipping, I order about a year’s worth of bags at a time.As someone else wrote, these bags don’t break under the weight of the waste.In years past, I would have given this a 5-star rating, but I think the bags are now made of a cheaper, less odor-retaining material than in the past.Perhaps this package is defective, and the rest of the order will be as good as the earlier bags. If so, I’ll update this review. For now, I put the waste-laden bag inside a plastic supermarket grocery bag before it goes into the trash and we all breathe easy.

Bags Rip When Opened
UPDATE: Well, they’re back to non-existent quality control. Half of the bags in the last case ripped below the seal, rendering them useless. I hope the corner-cutting is giving more profit because you’re losing customers over it. UPDATE: After complaining directly to the company (and posting this review), I received a replacement order, free of charge, along with assurances that this new/faulty/enhanced/mistaken product will not be sold again. The replacement product, as expected, was the original/high quality product. Although the company’s initial response to my complaint was a bit suspect, they quickly realized this was a real issue and, for my part, have acted in a positive way and I will continue as a customer.If I had an option, I’d give this 0 stars. I’ve used this product for at least 10 years and just received my latest case and the bags are now made of what is essentially tissue paper. They tear just by looking at them funny and certainly can’t hold any amount of litter without exploding. This was my last order and I am looking for an alternate product immediately.
