Comes apart for easy cleaning- game changing!
I’m a regular user of these types of mats and this one has some extra benefit. The mat arrives folded but after 1 hour in the window in the heat of the sun it flattened out perfectly. It does a great job at trapping litter from kitty’s feet like most of these style mats but the fact that the top is detachable is so helpful. Once in a while there is a bigger mess on the mat that requires a heavy duty cleaning. Being able to pull it apart allows for a complete clean with no litter or mess remaining stuck between the layers. Highly recommend this mat and I will likely order an additional one in another size.

I really wanted to like it, but…
The design of this mat seems like it would work very well. With two layers it can trap litter without having a pile of it on top that creates its own mess, and its easy to dump out. However it arrives folded up and no matter how much and how long I leave heavy objects on top of it I cannot get it to flatten out. Its too stiff and the bends seem to be permanent. So it won’t lie properly and therefore litter gets off the edges, onto the floor and underneath it.

Non slip bottom and the velcro edges seal well, but make it so much easier to keep clean!
This litter mat is similar to another I own, but this has some good advantages. The underneath is made of textured EVA which is both waterproof and non-slip. (This is a nice difference to another mat I have which has a more slick bottom sheet that slides around on the floor or carpet when my cat walks on it.) The top is soft enough that it is more cat-friendly than my first litter-trapping mat that had a more prickly artificial-turf feel to it. The Velcro is an interesting touch â I wonder if it will collect litter dust over time, but then I donât think that matters since you can separate the top and bottom and rinse it outside with a hose or inside in the tub or shower. This eliminates the problem of litter or bits of kicked out fecal matter dropping into the bottom layer and getting trapped in the seam of other two-layer mats. So this will be much easier to keep clean!

Misleading imagery and overpriced for the size
The very first image shows two litter boxes and a cat on this mat. While the dimensions are given, this makes it seem like it will be much larger than its actual small size. It’s actually smaller than our entire litterbox, and so does little to keep litter from getting tracked around the house unless the cat happens to step out onto the mat. It also has taken a long time to flatten out after being unfolded, despite placing under a heavy, flat item as suggested in the instructions

Simple little catcher
Great little product to capture the litter of the feet of the cat after he does his business. Pet owner was a little concerned that the honeycomb feature/texture would bother the cat, but he doesn’t seem to care one bit. I like to think that this actually helps grab the litter more.

Thick, large, traps litter well
This is a large flexible cat litter mat that is big enough to use in front of 2 litter boxes. The small honeycomb of holes in this mat catch most of the litter my cats track out of the boxes, and protects the rug beneath it. It is very thick because it has two layers, the upper layer with the holes, and a lower layer to keep the litter confined inside the mat. It is easy to empty this too. This is a simple design but it is of good quality and works well.

Not flat after 48 hours of 10 pound weight
The mat came folded and it took 48 hours to get it closet to being flat. Still not 100%. It is an interesting and innovating design, but I am not fond of the super light materials in addition to it not being flat. I do like that the mat really did not have much chemical odor at all, so it is a plus.

Make sure you measure the area you want to use this as the stock images show a kitten with kitten litter boxes. This fits one adult litter box. Well not two
