Great snuffle mat for a cat or small pup!
I decided to get the mat bc my cat, Gwendalyn, snarfs her food and then whines a couple hours later when she had nothing else to eat. So, I opted for few different ways to help her “hunt” for her food, to keep her active & attentive, and spread out her food intake… One is hiding food in a honeycomb looking stand I made her that she has to paw at each opening to get her food… Another was cleaning a water bottle, cutting some holes, and letting her roll it around to get her food… The the third was this mat! Came in good condition, no smell to it at all, and she did great when I introduced it using her treats. Initially with food she was lazy about certain spots, but once she saw me pulling them out, she’s now a pro. But, the variety of places to hide the food or treats I’d great, it really helps and keeps her attention and keeps her working! The material is a nice soft fleece. It has a strap with some velcro that can be used to roll up the mat and store, or, you can use it to secure the mat to a chair leg, or the like, to keep it steady.Yes, it comes with 2 electric loops and 2 suction cups, but they don’t work on our wood floor for whatever reason. There are some little treads on the bottom, but it can still slide. It works fine for us given the space I keep it.I have also washed it several times now – cold water on delicate cycle. Comes out fine. I put in dryer but only on the no heat setting, just to help it along. Drying rack works too.Great little snuffle mat! Gwen and I highly recommend!

I was looking for a way to engage my old lady dog a little bit to keep her from being bored. She begs for treats when she’s antsy, so I decided to try this and I’m so glad I did! I got little training treats and hide 7 or 8 in the mat when she starts whining. She has a blast sniffling them all out, and it satisfies her boredom! I wish I had gotten one sooner.This particular mat is SO CUTE, well made, and has a variety of different ways to hide treats to keep pup entertained. Would absolutely buy again!

Entertains the puppy! Not chew durable.
This definitely keeps my dog engaged. Filling his snuffle mat is a nightly routine before bed. He loves it and it keeps him occupied for 10+ minutes.This comes with suction cups attached to the corners to keep it on the floor. The suction wasn’t very strong. Eventually my dog chewed them off but this is still very usable. Probably not great for chewers but definitely good for its intended use.

Got this a few months ago for my cat. She loves it can it keeps her busy.I am must impressed in how it cleans up. Though it in the washer and dry on low and it’s better then new!

Not just for dogs!
This mat is adorable and functional. Oscar figured out its purpose quickly since heâs very food motivated. It seems durable. I pulled many of the pieces to see if they were well attached and none came off. I like that it rolls up so I can put it away when weâre not using it or when cleaning the floor.I can tell Oscar is not thrilled with it as there are currently some food kernels still hiding out in there. Weâre keeping it though because it does distract him and give him something to do when his brother needs to eat the rest of his food.

Best engagement toy ever
I use this every night for my cat. He 100% loves it! Itâs so engaging and so cute! So easy to use, I do need to run it through the wash it is a little dirty lol

My pup loves this!
I have a 9 year old, 95 pound German Shepard who needs mental stimulation as her physical stamina is waning. This is great for that! She loves to snuffle through it and find all the treats and dog food. It keeps her busy for awhile. If she starts to chew on the pad itself, I just take it away. It washes and dries nicely, too! It may not be worth the price, but after looking through a lot of these on Amazon, I think this one is the best for the money.

Smelly
The very first thing I noticed when removing it from the package was the VERY strong odor. There was no way I was letting my puppy sniff around on it that way. I considered just returning it, but decided to see if it was truly washable. Put it in the machine on a gentle cycle and it came out just fine! Smell was gone. Next up, hid a few treats in it and put it on the floor using the suction cups. The cups didn’t hold AT ALL and my puppy proceeded to chew on them. When I took them up, she then started on the elastic straps that were supposed to hold the mat to the suction cups. So, I cut them off! Now she had no choice but to “snuffle” up those treats, right? NOPE! She started chewing on all of the soft “succulents” instead. A couple of times she would find a treat and get excited, but most times she just liked chewing on the mat itself. This product might be better for an older dog whose first instinct isn’t to just chew the heck out of everything in sight. I do give it a thumbs up for durability, though, because she spends a lot of time chewing this thing and it’s holding up really well so far! Not its intended purpose, but entertaining her for awhile, nonetheless!
