Top quality product as described. Even its storage bag, storage straps and towel it comes with are nice! Lays flat with no curling at the edges. Very comfortable to workout on. You feel both supported and cushioned when using it. This is by far the best mat I have ever purchased!!! 1st it was packed nicely, even came w a nice gorilla sweat towel as a gift for my purchase (was not expecting that so it was nice). came on time and for the price you cant beat this. size is perfect and this mat is beyond amazing. its durable, stays in place, doesn’t fold up or get in your way. has great traction and is soft like but sturdy enough for any workout…I lift weights on it, place heavy weights on it and the indentions of the weight on the mat disappear when you take them off. if your looking for a mat, please purchase this gorilla. I’ve used a lot of others (usually dont hold up like this one) as I’m a personal Trainer and I train all my clients on this mat and its holds up to its name…I was NOT given anything free for my review this is all true, and in fact I don’t leave reviews often at all but this mat makes me so dang happy I had to leave a one, a good one too bc I want others to know this mat is legit. thanks to the seller for selling such an amazing product at an affordable price!!!

Finally broke down and ordered this mat. Have to say I wish ordered this last year. Oh my gosh! Amazing. It doesnât move and still has enough padding to keep you comfortable during workouts. Perfect size, has straps and a bag for rolling up or transporting. Love it!

Nice, big mat, but …
I bought this mat to save my living room area rug from the daily beating I was giving it doing walking and other exercises to a DVD. I specifically asked before buying it if it would slip on a rug and was told it stayed in place, but I have found that it definitely does not stay in place while doing vigorous walking or other aerobic type exercises. I had to stop and move it back at least 8 times during a thirty minute session. I do like the thickness and it is perfect for yoga and stretching, as these do not seem to make it move. It’s a great product other than the movement issue.

Finally added photos from when it arrived.******************************************************************I was apprehensive due to cost and the negative reviews, especially about the durability. However, this is a purchase that has made me very happy*I love the cushion factor (compared to a regular yoga mat)*My hands and feet don’t slide at all on this mat (as I did on my regular yoga mat)*So far I have not had any issues with durability, but I use it solely for exercise/yoga and I do keep out on the floor most of the time, but I don’t casually walk on it*My only wish is that I would have bought blue instead of black, and maybe a larger size (XL?) although this one (Large) is plenty large for my 5’4″ frame. This isn’t a size you would probably take to an exercise class or studio, but for home it is awesome!*I have experienced NO off gassing chemical smell with this product as I was worried about based on someone’s review (I believe this product is made of all natural material based on what read on the company website, can’t recall for certain).*The mat came well packaged, but not in a box… a large yoga bag with the labels on that bag. I was in new/unused condition as it came from Gorilla Mats, not some 3rd party seller (well…I guess amazon fits 3rd party seller..so maybe I mean 4th party seller?)*This product makes me very happy and it is nice to say I have had no regrets about the product or the cost. It has exceeded my expectations so far.

It’s perfect!
The hunt for the perfect mat is over! I have purchased and returned a few mats because: 1) they are not thick enough; and 2) all of them slipped on our hard floor. This one is the perfect size, thick enough for my son’s martial arts class (spins, burpees, kicks, jumps) and my HIIT workouts, and most importantly, it stays in place!I am glad I read the reviews of this product and compared it to the workout mat. This mat is slightly thicker than the workout mat and either product may work for our use; however, I have no complaints about this yoga mat. It has everything that I need. My son and I love it! We use it every week and we keep it in our cabinet (rolled up) when not in use. The size is manageable — it is easy to roll-up and easy to store.

The best Feldenkrais surface I’ve ever used.
It doesn’t buckle up and move around during use. It gives a good grip to the bottoms of the feet when needed, yet doesn’t have too much friction for sliding movements. When doing lessons involving the rolling of the back it gives a marvelous back rub at the same time, a completely unexpected bonus. The width is great. I’ve wanted a surface like this for many years. (I use it with the textured, colored side up.)The quality seems excellent and it was packaged beautifully for shipping.

Expectations were high on this purchase. So much that I had to really go back and look at the description. Good Quality, Color and Size as advertised. For my use it was a bit small. And the over all thickness wasn’t what I was looking for. Great for in the house on a rugged area. But the over all padding was thin. One step above being on the bare floor.
