This is the best cup for teaching your baby to drink from a straw, super easy to use, clean, and setup! I love the handle design, it makes it easier to grip for the little guy. Well worth the money, weâve used this cup daily for about 10 months and itâs still in great condition!

Almost perfect transitional cup
I initially thought this cup leaked, but later realized the lid has two pieces (like a baby bottle with the nipple and collar) and the silicone piece has to be properly seated in the collar ring. Mine was not and leaked, but it was user error (my bad!).This cup is great. My 7 month old is learning to drink from a straw after refusing a bottle. Itâs a great transitional cup.Likes: quality, durability, all parts liquid comes into contact with are silicone, baby likes it, the weighted straw allows him to practice tipping like a bottle or sucking from a straw, this cup can also be squeezed like the honey bear cup to force liquid up and teach straw use. The majority of the cup is easy to clean and can be sterilized which means itâs durable and can be used a long time (handed down, given away, reduces waste).Dislikes: ease of cleaning. The straw connects with a small plastic piece that has to be taken apart to properly clean and itâs the kind of thing you worry about losing. The internal straw is too narrow for even the included cleaning brush.

My sons favorite cup!!!
We love this cup!! Was looking for an all silicone cup so it was non toxic and soft for when he drops/throws it. Another feature we wanted was the weighted straw so he had a better chance at being able to use the cup on his own. Exclusively breastfed & loved this cup for water! He learned how to drink from a straw quick using this cup, especially since you can let them attempt to suck the straw as you squeeze the bottom and water will come up. After doing that he quickly learned the process of using a straw! Cleans easily, can use with or without the handle.

Not Leak-Proof
âââ 3/5 â Not Leak-ProofI love Haakaa products, but this cup was disappointing. It spills constantly, even when standing upright, and my son easily makes a mess when heâs done drinking. It also tips over a lot, which is frustrating.On the plus side, itâs easy to clean, made of great quality materials, and my son took to it quickly. But because of the leaking, I put it away and will try it again when heâs older. If it didnât spill, Iâd recommend itâbut for now, I prefer truly leakproof cups.

Not durable
At first I loved these cups! But after a month of use they are almost unusable because they leak so much!My son is wasting so much breast milk because he squeezes them and milk goes flying. Now the hole in the nipple is so big it POURS out.

Donât buy glass!
We started with the Haaka Glass bottles and if you drop them from 2 feet off of a hard service they will shatter. We drop them in parking lots, we drop them on the granite, we drop them on the wood floor. lol itâs an expensive messy drop. We splurged to add the silicone sleeve to all the glass bottles and that really does not help. I would suggest using silicone from the start. These are presented as cups, but the nipples from the bottles fit on these perfectly and you can take the handles off of the sides. Then when your child is ready, you can add the handles and the straw, and it turns into a cup. Much more cost-effective and I do believe silicone is safe.Silicone can be sterilized in steam or boiling water, we opted to buy a UV sterilizer. We love it and it works very well. Itâs a UV sterilizer like they invented to drop your phone and things into during Covid for sterilization. However, itâs sterilizes and dries the bottles in 40 minutes and you can fit at least six bottles with the nipples, maybe eight in the sterilizer at a time.

Pricey but worth the money
Worth the money, taught my baby how to drink out of a straw at 6 months old. She wonât drink out of any other cup now besides an open cup. Make sure you take the straw completely apart to clean or it will grow mold, but they do sell replacement parts

Love this cup! As someone who has a baby who refuses all bottles – she took to this great ! Itâs easy to wash, the handles are awesome, and the weighted straw is great. The only thing is it does stain easily but that does not impact its function !
