Perfect supplement
I bought this to add to my dog grain free homemade dog food. My dog was recently diagnosed with cancer so I switched to a high fat and low protein diet. I realize that she needed this supplement because of the grain free food. My dog seems to love it. Really affordable and it lasts a while.

PET’s ON GRAIN-FREE DIET NEED THIS!!
Years ago I visited a few animal shelters and decided (after my eyes were opened to the millions of domestic animals euth’d every year) that all my future pet dogs and cats would come from shelters. I have a heart for the unchosen ones nobody seems to want. A few years ago I found my self with 3 dogs of which 2 out of 3 had food sensitivities so I decided a grain-free would be best, not contributing gluten to add to itchy skin issues and ended up using a salmon based diet which seemed to agree with all 3. After 3 years of this diet, my smallest (10lb) middle aged dog was diagnosed w/a heart murmur which upgraded quickly to a grade 5 (out of 6) and CHF. I discussed all possible treatments and chose to put her on three heart meds immediately, giving her a better quality of life, however long or short it might be. After reading everything I could get my hands on, including new startling info on a possible grain-free pet-food diet link to cardiovascular issues, I decided to supplement all 3 dogs with BioVibrant Taurine PLUS, by inClover RESEARCH. I noticed right away an increase in eye clarity, stamina and agility in my 13+ y.o. pitbull/mastiff who’s usually a “thanksfornoticingme”, slow-moving Eyore, kinda guy! The youngest of my pack with a history of serious physical abuse (a 20 lb. Brussels Griffon) seems more relaxed and sleeps better.I knew it would be hard to discern any improvement from the product in my littlest and now very ill “schmaltz”, (a female Maltese/Schi-tzu) because in my experience I’ve found that little dogs tend to mask their symptoms when ill. But, what I did see overall was a change in her eyes (bright, alert and smiling), a willing and ready to play attitude with some stamina. Granted, the play could last only about 30sec before she was too winded, but that was ok because I saw a return to her bright and feisty self which in her last days was wonderful to see. As a dog owner/lover I want my dogs to live a long, healthy life. I’m not sold on kibble as the base of a healthy diet regardless of grain-in or grain-free because all nutrients are cooked out and have to be added back in leaving the possibility unless every batch is vitamin, mineral, amino quant/qual tested which is way too costly! I’m currently looking at possibly freeze drying large batch fresh food, but we’ll see…the equipment is expensivebut in the long run, worth it because nutrients aren’t lost by heat and there’s no oxidation damage! So…meantime, with my dogs I’ve seen 2 out of 3 demonstrate more stamina and sharper, clearer eyes. So much so that I recommended the BioVibrant Taurine to my daughter for her elderly epileptic dog who’s on a grain-free diet. His eyes were getting cloudy and once on the Taurine for 2 weeks, the cloudiness is almost totally cleared!4 Stars for Taste cuz one of my pups trys to avoid it so I wet everyone’s chow till it’s dissolved. 3 Stars for Cost, cuz 3.5oz of product in container for twenty bucks is costly. 5 Stars for Easy to use cuz you just sprinkle it on their food.ðSo, my recommendation is…if your pup’s are on grain-free chow, THEY NEED BioVibrant Taurine!!! ððð

Good product
Really liked to product⦠simply put scoop fill of powder in my dogâs bowl. Have one picky eater and one that will down anything and both are it fine. Of course itâs type product unsure if it works or perhaps even helps, but at least you have peace of mind knowing youâre doing all you can to promote your dogs well being and longevity. 4 stars bc the scoop is so tiny I can barely grab it and doesnât empty instantly /easily into dog bowl as Iâve had few mishaps; and bit pricey for the amount.*For all you doggy parents, especially on a budget: After doing more research concluding (from my readings-please do your own research or consult your vet, etc.) but I feel confident that human grade Taurine is safe for your pup. With that being said I purchased 3 lb bag of human-grade Taurine powder for fraction of the cost and actually just transferred this new powder into the now empty taurine container switching out scoops as well while adhering /adjusting to the correct dosage established by this Productsâs scoop size. I apologize stating this regarding the manufacturer/seller but I wonât have to repurchase taurine for long while while your product was on the expensive side.

Trusted Company
I have been using InClover products for over 15 years, so when my vet recommended that my dog take a taurine supplement, I was very happy to see that InClover is now making one. This is not some fly-by-night internet company that’s all marketing and no substance, but a reputable, science-based company that develops their own products and has a long history of providing safe and effective pet supplements. What I like most about the company is their focus on quality. I trust the quality of their ingredients (all US sourced, human grade) and their guaranteed analysis. Their package labeling is very complete, so I can see exactly what I’m giving my dog. If I need to give my dog something everyday, perhaps for the rest of his life, my number one criteria is that I choose a safe, high quality product.

Cardiomyopathy??
You are probably here looking at this product because you’ve read about the controversy brewing with grain free dog food and cardiomyopathy. This is an issue because these sneaky dog food companies boost their protein levels by adding like 6 different kinds of beans and peas to boost the protein content. See, if they used one type of bean or even two types, they would end up being the first two ingredients. People have been well trained to look for dog food with at least the first ingredient being an animal protein, but sneaky dog food companies, even ones considered to be EXCELLENT, HOLISTIC COMPANIES, get around this by DILUTION. That wouldn’t necessarily be bad except that beans don’t contain taurine, or much of the taurine precursors that dog’s need to manufacture taurine themselves. Now some dog food companies are waking up and adding taurine and a few other amino acids directly to the food, which is better than nothing. So as a good dog owner, you can take matters into your hand by learning how to cook for your dog at home and ensuring they get plenty of chicken (chicken is very high in taurine), OR you can carry on with your current food and just add about a teaspoon of this stuff, or less if you have a tiny dog. If this product is too expensive, rather than doing nothing, I would get a big bulk package of taurine here on amazon, which is very cheap. This product is nicer than pure taurine because it contains the amino acid precursors, which allow your dog to manufacture its own taurine in addition to what it absorbs directly. Whichever path you take, DO SOMETHING, this is a REAL ISSUE and you do not want your dog to get cardiomyopathy.
