This notoginseng powder is of good quality and fresh. It is a super fine powder suitable for mixing in liquid for consumption. I put 1 leveled teaspoon of it in a cup of boiling water and steep for 4-5 minutes. It has a slightly sweet and mildly bitter flavor. I simply add honey to taste. You can also blend it in your favorite tea. It is well-known in traditional Chinese medicine for nourishing blood, improving circulation, cardiovascular and liver health, and immune system support.This comes in a resealable retail plastic bag. Mine is good until 09/25, a little over 2 years from now. The ingredients are panax notoginseng root. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this. It is easy to use and has great health benefits. I drink it as a herbal tea with honey, and it is pretty decent tasting. The price seems pretty reasonable for a 4 oz. bag. Worth giving it a try for the quality and health benefits. Good product.

Dairyland Management Pure Panax Notoginseng Powder – 100% Natural, Enhances Wellness – Ideal for Smoothies, Teas, Herbal Remedies – Sustainably Sourced, Non-GMO (12 Ounce (Pack of 1)).I have been involved in herbal tradition for many years and also studied traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Noto-Ginseng is known as San Qi, and is used in a variety of herbal formulas. It should not be confused with Panax Ginseng which is an entirely different herb. I make a tincture that I use for injuries, bruises, sprains, etc., that is called âDit Da Jowâ. San Qi is an important ingredient in that formula. It often comes as rock hard dried roots that are very difficult to break up, so I was very excited to see this in powdered form. Unfortunately the package is only 4 ounces, not 12 ounces, which others have also noted. This herb can be very expensive so Iâm still okay with the cost, but they should fix the listing to reflect the correct size.

Overall satisfied with the powder. Definitely not something to consume in a glass of water, especially if you do not like bitter things. The best way I found to mask the flavor has been with a morning smoothie or shake. It definitely feels like am in a perkier mood throughout the day and for the price, the bag seems to reasonably last long enough. Overall, satisfied with the product and will continue to purchase!

Great quality powder
First of all, I am very new to using ginseng powder and using it for tea, I was not prepared for the bitterness. I did add some honey but, I think that first sip did me in with making the rest of this have a very long after taste of bitterness so, I will be trying this again with some minor adjustments if I make tea again. The first flavor I get on my tongue is very pleasant, it was all in the after taste that lingered that was not as pleasant for me. I will mix this with other supplements in smoothies as an easy solution to work around that concern. For the quantity of servings, the quality of the powder (very evenly and finely ground) this option is a good value and if I see the benefits I hope to see with my energy levels, I would keep this on hand.
