Thick, Great Size and Grip, but Wrinkles Easily
Unboxing / Ecosystem: 5/5Love the white packaging with colored logos and pictures of the mat. It makes it very giftable. This mat does not roll well, however, which Iâll talk about later. The bala ecosystem is great, and the towel that they sell for this mat fits perfectly. I highly recommend a combination of both.Looks: 4/5I love the flat one color look. The sage color is beautiful as well, even the bottom is a nice shade of green. However, one bend and the mat will have a wrinkle. Itâs a little unfortunate since the flat top is much better looking than a textured one.Quality / Durability: 5/5This is a thick, quality mat. Itâs hard to roll up, but you can feel the quality when you do. Both the padded top and grip at the bottom are made well.Function: 5/5Love the padding this mat provides. Itâs comfortable, and grips to the ground extremely well. With the additional towel you can buy, it makes it even better. The length is perfect, Iâm on the taller side and itâs great for me. However with the length and thick padding, make sure youâre ready for a slightly larger mat when rolling it up and storing it, or transporting it. Holds sweat and stains
Got the 8mm and had issues so I got the 5mm and same thing, it holds sweat like no other mat and will stain over time, this is one of those brand name bad products I wouldnât recommend any of these mats

Love love love
Ey I LOVE this mat. Bala perfected the baby pink and this mat is everything I could hope for. I was more of a pilates girl and this mat has made me want to do yoga. Extremely non slip, I used to have a cheap gaiam mat and needed a towel so when I didnât see a wavy towel to match- but I truly donât need it. As you can see I used it in hot yoga but the stains left once it dried (after I ran a wipe on it first). Bala helps me enhance my workout while feeling super chic and Iâm all for it.

Firm, solid & supportive Yoga mat
Pros:+ The mat is big.+ It is large and though it is under 3/4 of an inch, it is firm and supportive even on hard flooring.+ Its finish is smooth on the user side and non-skid on the floor side.+ The mat is made of solid materials and I have no fear of it falling apart or wearing out anytime too soon.I highly recommend this yoga mat.

Doesn’t lay flat and creases
Iâve always been a fan of BalaâI even own their 25lb Beam in the same colorâso I expected this yoga mat to match up. Instead, it’s a total mismatch: the color is way too bright compared to what I saw online, and it just doesnât lay flat. It also creases all over, which makes it feel cheap and ugly. On the upside, itâs really cushiony, which makes the practice comfortable. For a $99 mat, though, these issues stick out, making it more of a mixed bag than a keeper.
