Small and powerful
i bought it for my wife. It simple, portable and yet powerful. You will get 3 wicks with it which is very helpful and the mist that comes out of it is good. These are not for bigger rooms or not even smaller rooms. These are for work places or if you are working on desk for longer period of time. I would highly recommend it.

Fill it up and throw it in my bag
UPDATE: So, it’s been a year now and I’ve used this thing pretty much every night during the winter months. I’ve noticed a lot of bad ratings saying that it stopped working. If I hadn’t read the care directions, I might be saying that too. I think the key to keeping it working is that you have to keep the little mist holes cleared of mineral deposits. A Q tip (or paper towel) and some 50/50 vinegar and water seems to keep the holes clear for me.. I just took this on a 12 hour drive with the heater blasting in 10 degree weather, and this, again kept my eyes and nose from drying out. We all keep ours filled and in our bags around here.I sing, and where we rehearse, the air is so dry in the winter, I start strangling. This is such a life saver. It lasts on intermittent through rehearsal, and then right on through our performance. It’s quite effective when set behind me on a stand. I also use it at night plugged in on intermittent and am always pleased to see it still running when I wake up 8 hours later. I love that it doesn’t spill. I just throw it into my bag. Best of all, it’s absolutely awesome in the car, especially on long trips. I get sinus headaches, and my eyes dry out when the heater is on. I plugged this thing in and it resolved that lifelong issue immediately. Who’da thunk it! Easy to refill too. It could have a better battery life of course. But I’ve yet to find the perfect little humidifier. This is as close as it gets for me. I’m buying one for the other singer in our group. I can actually afford these on my little budget.

Tiny Humidifier
This humidifier works well, however it is TINY! Holds about 6 ounces of water. Will run roughly overnight. I have it on my bedside table so it is near my head. It is not a whole room humidifier.

Defective Unit
I took delivery of this from Amazon yesterday. Read the instructions, followed to a T. Unit worked great for the 5 hours. Unplugged, emptied and set it aside for the night.Went to use it this morning in my home office. Filled up with distilled water, plugged in, turned on and started working.I quickly noticed something was not right as the unit began hissing and not misting. When hissing, water bubbles up and went all over top of unit and all around the table it is on.There was no dropping by me or any other thing to cause it to not work properly. I emptied the water, used qtip with 50% white vinager to clean, let dry, plug back in and same problem.I called Amazon for help and was offered 15% off to keep the unit I only received less than 24 hours ago and used once. She then said I could return it for credit. I shared how after it performed so well yesterday, I threw out the oem box in my trash which happened to have been picked up at 6:30A this morning so I have no box. She asked if I had a bag to put it in and the stick a return label to it. Advised her all I had was a Walmart shopping bag. She said okay, use that. I was like are you sure?? The thing would rip open and the unit would get lost or damaged in the UPS system. She said those were my 2 options. I asked her to send a replacement and I could then use that box to return this defective unit. She said I only had the 2 previous options to choose from.Iâve been a prime member for many years and spend a lot with Amazon annually. I canât believe this was the non-support I received on a defective $30 item that is now in the trash as it is no use to me if it does not function properly.Iâm sure mine is a one off defective unit. At least Iâd like to think so. But the lack of a respectful resolution from Amazon is crazy.I even gave an analogy to the customer service gal asking if she would be happy if she bought a new tire for her car that had a slice in it and where she bought it from offered her 15% off to just keep it. She did not answer but the obvious answer if no.When you buy something and it malfunctions within 24 hours of receiving it, one would hope for a positive resolution. Not in this caseâ¦

Update: After 3 weeks straight of using softened water in the unit (softener softened water) the unit does have some dried small bits of salt around it in the morning and i’ve noticed it doesn’t start to dispense mist immediately when turned on as it did when i first got it. My fix is just to gently knock the top of the unit on the bedside table to shake out some of the salt. It starts to mist right away after that. Removed a star from 5 to 4.I purchased this specifically for travel and for use overnight in hotel rooms. I was very pleased with the small size (the length is equal to the length of my make-up brushes). My order came with 3 wicks. I had zero trouble having my unit start or work (as some other reviewer’s have mentioned), mine worked very well even after being packed and unpacked several times. It is important to soak your wick at first use and before using if its dried up a bit-this only takes 5 min max.The unit can be run with or without the ambient lights. I prefer no light while sleeping so after turning it on by pressing the power button I just long press the power button to turn off the light. I leave the unit plugged in while sleeping and the mist lasts all night and still a small mist when I wake up.I love this little unit so much I use it while working at my desk at home as well. When working from home I do not have it plugged in and use the battery power. It usually lasts 4 to 5ish hours.Another tip is when you first get it stretch out the spring just a little bit before you put in the soaked wick. I stretch my spring a tiny bit ever time I am adding my soaked wick just to ensure its pressed up all the way. Also note, this unit can not be used with anything other than water. No scented oil! I have only used tap water or bottled water to with the unit, and as I’ve mentioned it has worked very very well. I am very happy with the function and performance or the unit and it is well worth the price. 5 stars.

I have had this humidifier for roughly 2 weeks now, at first it worked great and I was really excited about it! I use it in my office at work so for the most part I keep it plugged in, however I did unplug it a couple of times to âtestâ the battery life and I find it only lasts a MAX of 30 mins(disappointing and contradictory to the advertised run time)â¦. Today it stopped working, the mist stopped coming out and instead made a gurgling sound and pooled a small amount of water where the mist should be coming out – I am able to wipe it clean – it then works for approx 1-2 mins before the cycle restarts. I had read the instructions and was wiping it every evening after use to prevent âhard water build upâ despite this, it already does not work. I reviewed the sellers support page and the suggested fix is to soak that top part in a mixture of vinegar and baking soda for 2-3 hoursâ¦. If this is the maintenance required every 2 weeksâ¦. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Will reach out to seller and request refund.

Great product for the money. Portable and reliable. Purchased this specifically for staying overnight in hotels. Has two settings, first push of the power button will give you a continuous stream. Hitting a second time will have it come on and off. I find the second setting will continue through the night without running out of water. If hold the power button down at either settings, it turn off the light.
