Perfect, no frills, easy to use video monitor
If youâre sick of your WiFi monitor flaking out, stop right here. This monitor is the easy to use, never fail, old school video monitor you need. It was a cinch to set up out the box, it has never once flaked out like my previous WiFi to iPhone monitor, and has a battery allowing it to be unplugged and carried around while you work (within range). The sound and video quality are decent if you want to glance and see if baby has fallen asleep yet or hear when baby cries. That said, if youâre a techie who needs the best video resolution available in a monitor, well this one isnât for you. This is the fourth baby video monitor weâve used over the past 12 years, and this is the one Iâd recommend to anyone.

I rely heavily on reviews when making Amazon purchases, so I now am trying to start contributing to the reviews in order to help others with their decision like the reviews typically help me decide.This monitor is amazing. We loved it so much that my husband purchased a second camera to put in the other bedroom so we didn’t have to keep moving it from room to room based on where our toddler is. It shows pretty clearly and the night vision is awesome. Sound and range are very good as well. Coming from just a sound baby monitor, this was a major upgrade and it’s well worth the money. I would run in the room everytime I heard my baby make a sound on the sound monitor, but now I can actually see if she was just rolling over or sighing without going into the room disrupting her if she is asleep. This gives me so much more peace of mind. I really love that I can rotate it around the room to follow her if she gets out of bed and is playing with her toys. Battery life on the video monitor is really good as well.

Great video monitor, easy on the wallet, great for parents
I looked through a lot of different options for baby monitors. This monitor is worth more than I paid for it for sure. I love the price, but I love the quality more. I wish the battery would last longer (I get 4 hours combined max with the screen on) on the parent unit, but the video quality is perfect. The sound is great, I can hear my baby yawn, it’s that sensitive. Great buy, exactly what we needed.

Why not 5 stars you ask??? Well the image is quite good and night vision is quite good but zooming in is terrible the image is very unclear and pixelated.

Loses signal all the time
UPDATE: completely stopped working after 2 months. Do not recommend.I really loved the original version of this monitor (HB65RX). I bought it in 2020 and had it for 3 years. I would give the old version 5 stars. Unfortunately it stopped charging so I had to replace it and I got the same one again except now it’s a newer version and it’s terrible. It is within range and it constantly loses signal to the point I have to go stand in my daughter’s room so that it reconnects. It does not even give me an alert that it lost signal so I just sleep through the night without hearing my daughter. The old version would veep loudly if I were to walk out of range. This new version disconnects while in range and does not make a sound so I can’t tell how long it’s been disconnected. I was going to return it but I am outside the 30 days. I waited so long because I hoped it would start working as good as the other one did but it only got worse. Now it does not want to charge either.

Great monitor for an awesome price
I was skeptical at first because of the lower price. But Iâm actually very impressed with the quality. Our last video monitor (infant optics brand) went out and we have our 4th baby on the way.Top reasons I give it 5 stars1. The price2. You can move the camera up and down/ side to side with the main viewing hub screen3. You can buy separate add on cameras for a decent amount4. Plays music and allows you to talk to baby through the camera.5. Sounds and image quality are still great
