Cat never liked wet food⦠until now
We made it thirteen years without a cat interested in wet food. Now, twice a day, the cat sits by the bowl and demands Wellness Gravies Mackerel. Thatâs the only one. No other brand. No other flavor. Not even the shreds. This has single-handedly sparked a love of food for this Balinese ⦠but now weâre hooked.Sheâll eat the chicken and turkey one too⦠but eats around one of the proteins.

All of my cats love this cat food. The packaging is really easy to open and fast to serve which is great when you have several hungry cats. Itâs high quality ingredients and serving it to my pets keeps them happy and healthy.

Whereâs the gravy?
My 17 yo cat has CKD and this food is great because itâs lower in protein. She is very picky and loved this food right away. The last package of 24 pouches I received there is barely any gravy which is what my cat is driven to gobble this food up. I donât think I can return it now that Iâve opened some of them and canât figure out how to contact the seller. Iâm very disappointed in the inconsistency of the product. Up until now I havenât had an issue.Update: Amazon would not let me return the item, but did issue me a refund. I will happily donate the food I am unable to use or return to help some other cats

Where is the quality control?
A few pouches were okay and the cat ate them eagerly while refusing to taste the others. I could see for myself that they were different, the one she liked had a generous amount of liquid gravy, while “gravy” in the other pouches was a dense, semi-solid goo. Soaking the pouches in warm water before opening them or adding a bit of warm water to the product after putting it in the bowl did not soften the “gravy” and the cat still would not touch it. Yet the pouches all come from the same batch! I notice that the expiration date is very close — maybe the food has started to deteriorate or has been stored wrong?

For whatever reason my cats didn’t like it, and visiting outdoor cats also wouldn’t eat it. The gravy was the only thing they would touch.

Great Cat Food!
One of my cats can only eat no grain seafood cat food. This is a great product for him. It is a bit pricy but I have no choice but to feed it to both of my boys. This is their favorite wet food.
