The Best Prenatal Out There
As I am ordering these vitamins for my second pregnancy, I realized that I never made a review for my first. I started taking the gummies of this brand before we started trying to conceive. We conceived on the very first month of trying! After I found out I was pregnant, I switched to these pills. I will say that they are fairly large and have a weird taste if you take them with water. I always ended up taking them with juice or something and that helped tremendously. I love that these are made with real folate and real fruits and veggies. This vitamin never made me nauseous. I had a happy and healthy pregnancy. I then took the postnatal of this brand and it was great! I was definitely an over supplier. I do suggest taking a DHA pill alongside of your prenatal. My son is sooo smart. He is 18 months old and knows how to count to 10, how to spell his name, his colors, and a lot of animals along with their sounds. If youâre debating this vitamin, just get it!

Great natural vitamins
Great vitamins. I choose this brand for my prenatal Vitamin because I used to use the Iron Vitamins ones with my first pregnancy and my iron went up fast. Also because I know this company makes their supplements natural.

Good, gentle on stomach
UPDATE:So I took these for three months before TTC and got pregnant fairly quickly. Currently about halfway through my pregnancy and my bloodwork looks good and baby is growing well!I did have a huge problem with the taste during first trimester, but managed to force them down. Now I’m back to having no problem with the taste. I’m almost tempted to dock it a star for how bad it tasted during first tri but YMMV so I didn’t.It’s done everything I wanted and the main downside is just the cost compared to some cheaper brands. I have not had any issues with constipation or keeping it down.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I started taking these because I will be TTC soon and wanted the Folate now, and wanted to figure out a good prenatal now. I am mildly anemic and have attempted taking iron supplements before, but they made me feel so nauseous and sick that I stopped. Due to that, I was willing to spend a bit more on a prenatal that could actually get some iron in me and keep it down. This one with the two pills per day instead of one, less than 100% iron, and NO calcium to hinder the iron absorption, sounded like a perfect fit. Very happy to report that I have had no issues keeping these down, even taking them on an empty stomach. I feel more energetic than normal. It has a slight citrus taste, I can’t say it is a good taste, but it is not repulsive and does not leave an aftertaste. The pill is large but that’s to be expected of a two a day/one a day multivitamin pill, I think. Particularly with the iron. If large pills are a problem for you I’d recommend looking for something with more frequent but smaller doses.I plan to take Megafood’s DHA & choline supplement as well as a vitamin C supplement while pregnant. If I take a blood test during the pregnancy I will update this review with the results…

All the vitamins you need is there
I loved the packaging and the container itself. Itâs not your typical plastic vitamin kind of bottle, but glass. And one thing I loved about it is that it has pieces of cotton in there to help prevent the pills from breaking apart. Some of the things I dislike but can tolerate are:⢠Smell & Taste like dog food.⢠The pill is pretty big & I wasted a pill from throwing back out. So, I had to break them into four pieces & now Iâm one tablet short.⢠I honestly thought the pill would be a lot smaller, but they were not.It is a good product, and you have almost everything you need in one pill, but I wish the pill didnât have that odor smell. Itâs pretty strong & you can taste it as well. I wished they had gummies in these or made the pills a bit smaller to be easier to swallow.Overall, I highly recommend if you donât mind the big pills or breaking them into small pieces. The nutrients and vitamins are all there. This is my first prenatal vitamins and my first pregnancy journey. So, Iâm excited and is hoping what the outcomes would be ð

Highly Recommend!
Great price for the quality of the product. I took these during my first pregnancy, while breastfeeding and now during my second pregnancy! Love the all-food based vitamins. Very easy on the stomach, even with the amount of iron.

I love that it’s natiral!
I love this prenatal vitamin. It’s a little on the big side for a pill, but I don’t have any trouble taking it. You really have to watch supplements. Many manufacturers do not discern between natural, synthetic, or bio identical (from a living source). The natural supplements are the ones your body absorbs the best and is not hard on your stomach. Synthetics can be toxic especially vitamin A and are not absorbed as well as vitamins not harvested from living sources. I have been studying nutrition for about 20 years and if you can’t eat enough nutrient rich food to meet the high demand of pregnancy, I have found this supplements works very well. The only thing this supplement is missing is DHA.
