    Good speakers for the money
These speakers were easy to set up, not too big or too small and produce a good clear sound.Notably, the sound is only 6db so you are not going to shake the house with them, but for every day computer use they are just fine. I see them quite suitable for office situations where you need something that’s cheap but it works. I am using my set on a home computer that I don’t use much so didn’t need much sound. The jacks on the front of the right speaker for headphone and music are a plus.Anyway, this is a good set of low cost speakers that should work for a long time.

Great basic PC speakers that are great for Modding projects
These are respectable basic PC speakers. When I first received these speakers, I tested them using my desktop PC and my iPod. The sound quality is not bad. The sound quality at medium to high volumes is MUCH better than the 1 watt speakers built in to my ASUS monitor. The volume they can achieve is also much higher than the speakers built in to my monitor. At the maximum volume setting, these speakers are loud. At medium to high volume, they do lack bass but that is to be expected from basic 2.0 PC speakers that don’t have a subwoofer. The build quality is also very good. The plastic speaker enclosures are precision molded and feel really solid. This is a quality product.I purchased these speakers for a project. I recently built a computer for a friend and the speakers built into the monitor I selected were way too quiet. The speakers built into the monitor, at max volume, were so quiet that any background noise in the room would drown them out. Even with crappy built in speakers, the clearance price on the monitor and the available rebate made the monitor highly desirable. I wanted the computer I built to have respectable sound. I built a 4” high wooden box to act as a riser for the monitor. This brought the monitor to a more comfortable eye level. I then purchased a pair of Logitech Z150 Speakers. I purchased the white ones because they were notably cheaper and because I only needed the guts. I disassembled the speakers (I removed the two speakers and the circuit board from the plastic enclosures). I then modified the 4” high monitor riser box I built to act as a speaker enclosure. To remount the speakers and the circuit board, I had to cut some of the original wiring and do some light soldering. The speaker enclosure/monitor riser turned out great and I did not lose any sound quality. The main reason I built the speakers into the monitor riser was to keep the surface of the computer desk clear of clutter. This was also the main reason I originally selected a monitor with built in speakers. For modding purposes, these speakers are great. You can completely disassemble the enclosures and remove the speakers with a #1 Philips screw driver. There is a nut behind the volume knob that can be loosened and removed using a set of needle nose pliers. Only a little hot glue was used to secure the circuit board in place. I had no real problem removing it. The wire that connects the speakers together and the audio input wire are hot glued inside the enclosures. It was easier to cut these wires than to try to remove the hot glue.

    Awesome little affordable speakers.
Be careful if you use Razer Synapse with these. Their pre-set kHz ranges (Game, Movie, Music) can make the speakers crackle at higher volumes. I find that it sounds the best on custom, with everything at a flat +0 kHz. No adjustments needed!

    Better than my Bluetooth speaker
First pair of speakers for my first PC, they have mostly midtone sound with minimal bass. Ok, but I’ve seen better for a lower price. They’re very light as well.

    Perfect for the price.
I was looking for decent speakers at a decent price; these are it. They are perfect for watching videos/listening to music at reasonable volumes. Plug and play makes it very easy to use/setup.

    Quiet, weak, and thin sounding
These speakers are quiet, weak, and very thin sounding. They sound exceedingly cheap. The volume on my computer is all the way up and still need to have them at 75% full volume to hear everything comfortably. And even then, the sound is thin and harsh. I have bluetooth speakers they are half the price, that have a vastly superior sound. Definitely going to return them.

These speakers function well. I have them connected to a Raspberry Pi 2 which is acting as a media center. The sound quality is actually better than I was expecting – I think it’s superior to the speakers in the cheap LCD TV I was using. While that’s not saying too much I was a bit worried they’d be closer to, e.g., laptop speakers in quality since they seem intended for a computer and they’re cheaper ones. One minor concern is that the volume range is pretty low and there is some static when it’s turned up very high. I guess they’re really intended more for use with a desktop when they’d be right in front of you. They are loud enough for my needs set to around mid-volume (well before static becomes an issue) but my media player and the speakers are very close to the seating (about a meter). They might not be well suited to being further away (e.g. on the other side of a larger room) or for people with worse hearing.I’ve only used the product for a few days now. If it breaks in the near future I will update my review.Since the low volume isn’t really an issue for me I’d still give the speakers five stars. They perform well for the price.

For the price it is a great deal. Overall, the speakers deliver pretty clear audio with functional enough bass tones which can’t really be captured in the video. As expected of smaller speakers, a bit muddy around the mid tones. Overall eq seems to be flat enough to have an approximately accurate reference range compared to my monitor headphones and earphones. Don’t expect to hear every detail but the overall impression can decent. It can be pretty loud when you pump the volume and will fill my entire room and most of the apartment space. Construction feels a bit cheap. Cord is long enough to keep the speakers on a desktop table separate left and right. Overall it works well as desktop speakers for average media and music use.
