Good game for an elderly bun
So far so good! My 8 yr old bunny is always interested when she sees me put treats inside. She’s figured out that she can just take the swivel square off instead of swivel it like it was designed for lol. It’s kept on by a little wooden peg in a hole. She hasn’t yet figured out how to lift the square lids. I think those are better for small animals with hands. I’d say this was a great deal for the price. It’s complex enough to keep her little brain occupied and it’s good for bonding when I help her. No sharp edges, seems like good-quality wood, and not too heavy (she can flip it over and it doesn’t hurt her). I feel comfortable leaving her alone with it.

Buns love it
Rated 4 stars because one of the knobs came off during transit. Not a big deal since I figure it would get chewed off anyway, but it’s just not affixed very well. Its cheap, so I didn’t want to bother with return/exchange. I’ll still buy again when the buns chew through these.

These are really small. Too small for my pet rabbit, despite that being the advertised animal they are intended for. They broke very quickly and also, mine had little red mites appear on them, so I had to dispose of them before I got an infestation in my home.

I love the concept of foraging toys for pets. Items like this help to add mental stimulation to thier daily lives, reducing boredom, etc., and helping to boost fun and happiness. Individual results may vary, though, since pet personalities will vary.These toys are made entirely of wood, except for a small strap or two, that act as handles. The wood is a good quality, and is quite smooth and non-abrasive. Do be aware, though, that since these toys are made of wood, certain species of small pets, such as rodents, will have a tendency to chew on them. This is normal behavior for rodents. Just keep a watch on the chewing, and replace the toys as needed, etc.A couple of the lids do come all the way off, so be mindful of that, as they can be easily lost. I had actually lost one lid for a couple weeks before finding it in a supply box. The other lids either slide on an enclosed rail, or swing on a hinge, and so losing those ones shouldn’t be an issue since they aren’t supposed to come off.While these toys aren’t small, they’re not overly large, either. They’re also not too heavy for thier size. The hidden compartments for the treats are fairly wide in diameter, but are actually rather shallow. Small treats for small pets will still fit in them, however, there is not an inner lining built in. So do be mindful of treat debris and juices, as they can smear or soak in to the wood. But that might not matter anyway, depending on the types of treats used, etc.4 out of 5 stars.
