Hydration Meets Adventure
Hydration Meets Adventure
Our founders created Hardside Hydration to fill a need in the backcountry hydration space. After experiencing broken bladders and wet bags during a backcountry elk hunt, we knew we could do better. We needed to create a dependable solution for hardcore hunters and backpackers.

Stay Hydrated
Quench Your Thirst: Stay Hydrated with Our Premium Products
Crafted with precision, these products are more than just containers; they are your hydration companions for every adventure.
Our standard hose is available in orange or clear and includes a TruSwig liner to prevent the plastic taste on a hot day.
The insulated hose provides some protection for those chilly snowshoe hikes. The insulation is an outer layer on the hose that makes it very durable regardless of the temperature.

Better than water bladders!
Love Hardside Hydration! The widemouth version WILL fit a 32oz and 40oz widemouth Hydro Flask.Tubing and straw is made of high quality materials so they feel premium. Straw and tubing can be cut to length to fit your bottle. Also includes a tub clip for you backpack!

Works good for Nalgene
Works great on my Nalgene. Recently took it on a two week trip it was easy to take with. The tube that comes with it did seem really bendy and like fragile so I was worried it might break so I replaced it with my Gregory water bladder tube that is a lot more sturdier.

First Week Update
Did not immediately fit the 32oz Nalgene I already owned, but the straw will bend to form the bottle! This was my fault for not realizing it was designed for a taller bottle. The cap still fits perfectly and does not leak!!! I’m really enjoying having this as part of my daily kit so far. I would love to see a couple additional straws and bits in the package for this price point, but the quality of the product speaks for itself. Very well made and it’s true, there is absolutely no weird taste to the water coming through the hose. I really love the orange hose option too, as many others are blue or covered in a sleeve. The manufacturer is a tag-team of friends and this is made in the USA! I also love that.

Goodbye camel pack!!
This is so much better than drinking from a camel pack!! Easy to clean, better tasting from a Nalgene bottle and best of all itâs always leak proof.

Worst Bite Valve Ever
I think aliens came up with the bite valve design because it’s horrible. You have to change the angle of the bite valve itself to allow water through. Water doesn’t flow well through it and you have to bite hard enough that the valve is going to be chewed up in no time. I had an extra Camelbak hose that plugged right in to the quick release though and it solved my need for a bottle version of a hydration pack.

Hard holds together.
This thing self-disassembles during use. Nice idea poorly engineered.

Functions for what I need it for.
Great for field use. The suction power needed to get water out is high, so if you want something that will fly out with ease, this might not be what you’re looking for. It’s a wide mouth but almost too wide for my hydro flask. I can get it to grip but it’s not as tight fitting as I’d like (video shows the lid not quite fitting I think). Still holds water without leaks so I will make it work. It may be better suited for a nalgene. Pretty pricy for something that barely works for me but if I found another insulated wide mouth bottle that fit, it would probably bump this rating up to 4 stars.Easy to put together and use at least! And the insulated tube and mouth piece cover are great for keeping water cool and protected from dirt, respectfully.
