Good for Picky Eaters
I have three cats. They are all picky eaters when it comes to wet food. They love the dried food, but I know the wet food gives them more water for their system so I keep on trying. They liked some of the Fancy Feast entrees, but I am happy to report that Wellness Core Grain-Free Selects is disappearing from their bowls. They like it.

Cats love it
Cats love it but it is very expensive. I just give it to them a few times a week. I have been doing this for years. I have a cat that used to be on special food for stones but he has not had any stones in 2 years eating wellness. I mostly feed the wellness pate and some wellness dry indoor cat food on top.

Great investment for your cat
We love this cat food brand. Our two cats love it and it’s more healthy ingredients for them.

Picky cat loves itâ¦sometimes
Typical picky cat. Eats a full can like itâs the best thing ever, then wonât touch it. It seems a little too chunky for any of our cats without chopping it a little

MOLD IN CHICKEN
*********MOLD*********I normally don’t make time to review any product but this time is different. After over 15 years I have been feeding my cats Wellness cat food dry and wet food. I always trusted this brand name. They had tried all flavors and mostly their favorites were:Wellness Core Grain-free Signature SelectsApproximately 3 months ago was the first time that I noticed mold in the meat not the cans but the meat from the chicken and liver kind.First I thought maybe was a bruise, as you know the chicken get abused very badly before k*****g thm. They get stompped or thrown. poor birds 🙁 But no, this was not what it was. So I thought was one time issue. I had other kinds of issues like receiving bent cans or smashed but not mold.So I purchased more same and other kinds of seafood and chicken, same brand of course with no problem (think).Unfortunately in the last 2 weeks the ones I purchased, from everycase of 12 every other one I opened contained one or more pieces of mold and others tiny black dots, hard to see sometimes unless you really look.Boneless Chicken and liver entree.Boneless Chicken & beef entreeBoneless chicken and turkey entree.*********PROBLEM*******The problem is that last week I imagine I missed the bad cans and my 4 cats got very sick. I’m sure was related to this issue. They become with allergic reaction. Diarrhea, throwing up,sneezing, coughing. Watery eyes. But one of my cats who has FIV Got the worst part. He has been sick since last Wednesday and still not eating. When I try to offer food he start sneezing. He has been hiding most of the day.I ordered some sea food kind from Wellness as you know switching food is not easy either specially when their whole lives they have been eating this same kind. I spent 3 hours looking, comparing other brand names and still can’t find one that I trust or I can afford. It took me so long to find this brand years ago. After trying 6 different kinds I ended with Wellness. Was affordable and good on my cats digestive system.I don’t understand what’s going on with the quality of this brand now.********WATCH OUT*********If you recently purchased these type of wellness food please check one by one by putting them into a plate with enough light so you can see if is contaminated before feeding them. If from a case of 12 you find 2, assume the rest is moldy too.Remember, the health of your love one depends on you. 🙂

Updated review: the formula seems to have changed back and cat is happy again.
I donât know what it is about companies that âreformulateâ. First Halo, which I feed my dog (although he will eat it) now Wellness. I had been giving my cat Signature Selects shredded chicken and turkey since we rescued him 6 years ago. He loved it. I even liked the smell, it reminds me of human turkey, like a Thanksgiving dinner. I placed my recent order last week, and received the reformulated version. I wonât complain about the smaller packaging nor is that what this review is about.Updated: cat likes it now, they seemed to have changed it back. I changed stars backThe new formula is darker, almost rust color meat. It smells more like typical cat food. Ok, since Iâm not eating it myself in and of itself no biggie. Problem is my cat, Yardley, hates it. Barely touches it. The old formula he cleaned the plate dry usually. Now, I know they say you should mix anew food with the old at first to get them used to it. Well, guess what? I had no warning of these corporate level decisions so I had none of the old food to mix in. Had to go cold turkey, no pun intended. Why do companies do this? Cats are amazing but can be somewhat finicky.Unless Wellness goes back to the old formula and FAST I will be looking elsewhere. And to me, 1 Star is generous since I apparently wasted my money and worse my cat will be hungry.Updated again 10/2/19: still excellent consistency, kitty is happy

Be sure to order the correct flavor
Amazon does a wonderful job of handling orders. My problem with this is the tuna flavor. I fed my cat 1 tablespoon of this variety and within minutes she became very, very sick (on the white carpet, of course). I don’t know if the tuna was bad, or what, but my poor cat threw of seven times! Amazon graciously refunded my money in full. They said the item is non-returnable. I’ve ordered the Salmon and Whitefish variety as per usual, and feel confident my cat will handle it well. Thank you Amazon.

My cats love this food and so does every other cat I know who has had it. Itâs kind of expensive but definitely worth it.

Took well over a month to arrive and insanely expensive. Will no longer order this item.

My cat really loves this, he eats it up soo quickly, and it’s cheaper on Amazon than other stores
