Quick and crispy.
Pizza was ready in 20 minutes. I like the top kind of brown, very easy to clean, can cook other things in it, liked the design. I held the handle every time I used it, and it was never too hot.

Love This Thing – Recommended!
We’ve had our pizza “oven” for a few months now and have used it a bunch. It makes great grilled cheese sandwiches and my husband uses it to cook his frozen Red Baron pizzas on those “I don’t feel like cooking” nights. It does these well without having to heat up the house with our regular oven. I’ve even used it to grill French toast. Quick and easy clean-up, plus less electricity expense, especially with the AC on in the summer. And it doesn’t dry out a pizza crust like a large oven can do. Those of us who can’t tolerate dairy cheese, have to settle for pathetic cheese substitutes from just a few pizza franchises here in our town. So tonight, I took some homemade pizza dough (from my bread maker) and made my own pizza. I pre-heated the little oven and it did great. The photo shows the half I haven’t eaten yet! Lightly browned toppings and crust with well-risen edges. (In case you need to know…Violife provolone and Miyoko’s cashew-based mozzarella made up the cheese part.) We store the “oven” on its edge on the appliance shelf in our attached garage. Very happy I bought this affordable countertop oven and highly recommend it. Just two disappointing pizzas from the local pizza place would have cost more.

versatile, reliable, does what it’s made to do
It works really well for pizza and making quesadillas, etc. I’ve also used it for huevos revueltos and frying onions, burgers, etc. It didn’t work all that great for baking cookies, although the instructions said it could do that. It bakes evenly, heats up quickly, and also good for grilled sandwiches. You gotta make the sure to keep meltable stuff clear of the perimeter, though … learned that the hard way and sacrificed a couple plastic bags and half a plastic bowl ð (cause I didn’t check how close they were). Be careful, the base heats up pretty hot, and the hinge and lid as well. I usually use a potholder is it’s been heated up for more than one pizza in a row (or for longer than 15 or so minutes if you’re cooking something else). It helps if you wipe it out right after you use it, because if you leave stuff in there too long, it’s tough to get it off. You cannot immerse it in water to clean it! (Duh) use a piece of cloth or something. Avoid using sharp, metal utensils putting stuff in our taking it out if the oven or you’ll likely scratch the surface and then it won’t clean as easily or last as long. I found that the heating element lasts longer if I give it a little break between pizzas (if there’s time). It seems to get overheated and ‘act up’ if you overwork it ð.It didn’t do everything exactly that the booklet it came with said it could do, but it does a great job making pizza and for frying things. Definitely better than some other similar ones we’ve tried before in that it seems to be lasting quite awhile (so long as we take good care of it and don’t use it for purposes it was never intended to be used for). Money well spent, in my humble opinion.

Great price and versatile, but some parts of item description don’t check out
Overall, I’m happy with this tool. I bought it so that I can cook things like pizza and tortillas on hot summer days without having to use the stovetop or oven. I can just take everything out to the garage workshop, plug the pizza maker in, and make dinner without heating up he house. We don’t have AC, so this comes in handy. This thing is made to cook pizza, and it does a pretty good job of that. My homemade pie is cooked within about 12-14 minutes. The bottom crust comes out great. It’s easy to use with parchment paper, which I expected to burn, but it did not. The top of the pizza comes out well cooked and bubbly, but not brown. You’d have to supplement with a few minutes under the broiler to give a brown top to the pizza.I also use it for tortillas. Works great to prep a flour tortilla to make a burrito, or a corn tortilla to make a tostada. It probably works really well for crepes, though I haven’t tried that yet. I have tried to make tacos in it a couple times, with disappointing results. I think it’s just too humid inside this cooker to work for tacos. The item description says it can be used as a “tortilla press,” which is just plain ridiculous. You can use it to cook a tortilla, not to press one. (Unless maybe you want a tortilla that’s an inch and a half thick.) Another part of the description says it’s dishwasher safe, but also “hand wash only”. Huh? It has an electrical cord, so I would not put it in the dishwasher. You don’t need the dishwasher anyway; this product is very easy to clean. It’s simple to use, but imprecise. It’s either plugged in or unplugged; there’s not even an on/off switch, and definitely no temperature controls. I’m estimating it cooks at about 425 degrees. All things considered, I think this is a good value for the price. While it takes about the same amount of time as the oven to cook a pizza, it preheats much faster, so overall cooking time is faster and energy use lower, plus it can be used anywhere where there’s an electrical outlet.

It is designed to work on 110 volts and not on 210-220 volts. Not usable in India.

This is the best appliance. I use it in the trailer and at home. I have cooked shrimp, wings, pancakes, biscuits, amazing omelets, and even pizza! I love it so much I’ve purchased three more and given them as gifts.
