Surprisingly Impressive!
This baby monitor has actually surprised me. I was expecting it to have a horrible china-like quality product and instead I was met with the opposite. The monitor comes with:The cameraThe monitorAdapter for the cameraAdapter for the MonitorA pack of AAA rechargeable batteriesInstruction ManualThe MonitorThe monitor is made of plastic. It has your standard volume rockers as well as brightness adjusters. You have a menu option that lets you cycle through all the settings. An OK button to accept you choices on the menu. In addition, you even have a button to turn the LCD screen off to conserve battery. Lastly, there is a microphone button to speak to the receiving side or camera. This was a bit confusing seeing as I did not read the instructions but you have to hold the microphone button to talk if not it wont work. Some nifty features this monitor boots is room temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius. Its wireless range indicator and sound if not paired with the camera or turned on. Night Vision that works surprisingly well. The LCD screen is 3.5 inches and weighs less than a pound so its easy to carry. Its range is 1000ft of uninterrupted signal which means nothing in its way. I tested it out across my apartment and it worked fine; I even went outside.CameraThe camera is made of plastic as well. It can pan right and left, up and down manually. It has rubber grips on the bottom as well as a pairing button incase you have multiple monitors. It can support up to 4. If you want to mount it I recommend some 3M double sided tape and no where close to the baby or within their reach. It has a two times zoom. It has a on and off switch on the side. Voice chat is okay about the quality of decent walkie talkies.OpinionAll in all, I was skeptical at first but after purchasing it at target and playing around with it I can definitely recommend it for anyone needing to keep tabs on the baby or as a security camera or even with the elderly. Manual tilt, terrible signal strength
We have always used Motorola baby video monitors. We have an older version of this model in my daughters room that is almost 3 years old. It still works,terrible battery life, but still works.Once we had our son we bought this model. I donât like it! Our daughters camera had the tilt feature, but this one does not. You have to manually tilt the camera up and down which is very annoying. The signal strength in this model is also terrible. It will constantly cut out and stay cut out for periods of time and we have a pretty small house.Donât waste your money. After only using this for a few weeks, I wish I would have went with a higher end camera.

Motorola vs. Infant Optics
I was hoping this would be the one I keep because it was cheaper, but in the end, I kept the Infant Optics DXR-8. The Motorola does has a better picture due to better color quality. However, both aren’t HD quality, but good enough. Both cameras don’t have any delay in motion and all features (2 way voice, zoom, sound alert, night vision, etc.) work just fine. But the Infant Optics had a longer range of reception. I took both monitors to the farthest room in my house from the nursery, and the Motorola lost reception. (FYI: the distance is about 15 yards and has 3 walls in between the furthest room and the nursery.) For this specific reason, I decided to return the Motorola. Besides having better color reproduction (by a hair), the Motorola also has some lullabies which was a nice touch. Like I mentioned, I really wanted to keep the Motorola because it’s cheaper, but the Infant Optics has better reception in my house.

Nice product
This is so nice to have! I can keep an eye on baby while she is sleeping and or playing in her crib, you can even talk to baby through it if need be, you can hear them clearly and it even shows when volume spikes. It plays music if you want as well. Very handy!

Returned -dissapointed
I purchased this monitor as I had an older model that finally seen it’s better days. The older model had been working like a champ for years (4+) even with the monitor in another building! So decided to purchase this model to replace my old model, despite the reviews. As soon as I had it up and running, I could tell this was junk. Not only was the picture quality horrible, but the constant beeping telling me it’s out of range… even when the 2 units were sitting side by side. So I packaged it right back up and returned it. I have a much better unit now that was less $ and is amazing. I would not recommend this model. Hope they do some quality control and look at their previous models and get back to making quality products.

I got this monitor when we were expecting our first child in 2015 and it’s still working great! We just ordered another camera for our second baby and it was super easy to pair to the one parent monitor. The music that you can control remotely is one of my favorite features. There is no place in our house that the monitor doesn’t reach and it even reaches outside while I’m doing yard work. I would recommend this monitor to any parent or grandparent!

Not bad, but not great.
This monitor is decent. The battery life is AWFUL. In fact, I always have to keep it plugged in if I am using it. The picture quality is not very good, however I donât mind that. So if youâre a mom that wants perfect picture quality, I would not recommend this monitor. Very blurry and if he moves his body too much, the camera canât keep up with the fast motions. The sound is great on it, I will add!If youâre a second-time, third-time, fourth-time and so on mom, and you want to be able to see your baby, but donât care too much about the video quality this is a great monitor for you!

The battery life is terrible. It lasts for 20 minutes. On top of that a few times the picture has gone black but the monitor makes a high pitch frequency noise until I use a screw driver to remove the battery. The range is nowhere near what Motorola describes, I cannot get it outside on my deck let alone 300 m away!

I like that it was compatible with the one I already had as I need two cameras for each room. My old one the screen didnât work anymore, but the camera was still good. Love that I can have both cameras on one screen. The sound is good. The range is goodWhat I found though is that the camera wasnât as clear as my old one. But Iâm still able to see as long as the camera isnât far away. The battery doesnât last more than 3 hrs. I have to charge it everyday.
