I’ve tried countless protein powders over the years, and this one stands out for all the right reasons. First, the ingredient list is clean and straightforward—no unnecessary fillers or artificial junk. It gives me confidence knowing I’m putting something high-quality into my body.The versatility is another huge plus. I’ve used it for everything from smoothies to baking protein-packed muffins, and the results are always fantastic. It doesn’t overpower recipes but adds the perfect boost of nutrition.Since I started using this, my energy levels have noticeably improved, and my workouts feel more effective. Questionable product, but seems not bad
Everything about this protein powder is sketchy: First, the labeling has several goofy errors. See the picture. For instance, it says weird stuff like “the genuine quality”, and one emblem shows part of a flag and reads ” in USA”. It doesn’t say “what” in the USA! It also claims “sourced from a GMP certified facility” (GMP is a food-safety certification) but doesn’t say which facility or what agency certified it. And it cautions those suffering from “hypertension (low blood pressure)” not to consume it, but hypertension is HIGH blood pressure. Second, the front label says sweetened with stevia, but the only sweetener in the ingredient list is sucralose. Honestly, in choosing this protein powder, I failed to read the item description thoroughly, and would not have bought it if I had. I saw stevia and thought it was safe. If I I’d read further, I would have learned it contains sucralose, which is a “forever chemical” and some even consider it a persistent environmental pollutant. Third, while the label specifies the weight of product you’re getting, the tub/jar/barrel or whatever you call the container, is huge. I tried to show in a picture of how much empty space there was when I first opened it – I’d say it was only 1/3 full, if that. Why did they waste so much plastic? Fourth, the label claims “Europe’s #1 selling whey brand,” but references to DL whey protein was this product on Amazon, which was introduced on December 3 2024.Ok, enough about the questionable marketing. The protein powder itself seems pretty typical: overly flavored and overly sweetened. It does mix a little more easily than some – see the picture of a scoop stirred into a 12 oz glass of water. How does it taste? My vanilla-cinnamon flavor was a blast from the past – remember the smell of real, new Play-Doh? That’s exactly the aroma you’ll get when mixing it straight in water. Overall it’s not unpleasant, but as I mentioned above, it is WAY too sweet. In any case, most protein powders suffer from over-sweetening. I wish protein powder makers would offer an unsweetened option, so we could sweeten to taste, or not at all, since sometimes I want to add protein and body to a savory dish. I also tried it into a protein-peanut butter energy lump. Recipe: 1/4 cup PB + 1 scoop protein powder. The cloying sweetness is less objectionable and the PB masks the protein powder aromas.From a user perspective, I feel like I don’t really know what I got. I bought this as a protein supplement but I have no way to verify if the protein content is really what the label says. I can only hope DL (or NL Labs LLC, the company name in small print on the back label) was more careful and honest in manufacturing than they were in creating the marketing materials.

Game Changing Protein Supplement
I ran through several different protein supplements over the years and decided to give the DL pure whey protein a shot, and it really has set new standards for me. First it tastes really nice and has exactly everything I need in a protein shake, 43 g of protein is no joke, and it really stepped up the playing field. Sugar free, and collagen are other big pluses. Im really happy with this supplement, and it gives me a real peace of mind knowing I found a high quality, clean source of protein for my diet. Misspellings and missing details don’t invoke a lot of confidence
Strength is spelled incorrectly, it’s just “in the USA”, and for all the USA badging, it claims to be Europe’s #1 brand. I googled the company and address, it doesn’t seem to be a valid business address 🤷🏻‍♀️. And it smells like pla-doh. It dissolves well, smells a little more like powdered milk once reconstituted. But the flavor tastes like overly sweetened soap. I couldn’t drink it. Maybe the chocolate flavor is better, but the vanilla tastes like perfume.
