Substantial mat
This is a more heavy-duty mat than the typical exercise mat. I decided to get the 6’x4′ size because we have a hardwood floor, and I thought I would like to have a larger area with a mat, especially for exercises that require jumping.This mat is the same length as my other exercise mat, but it’s twice as wide. While my old mat is lightweight, this one is NOT, so it doesn’t slide around, but it’s also more difficult to roll up and store. (The package weight is 6.78kg, so I suspect the mat is at least 10lbs.)It does provide the extra cushioning I was hoping for, and I like having the extra space. I no longer have to debate whether to put my feet on the floor or the mat for pushups, planks, and downward dogs! Even though it’s heavy duty and a bit more difficult to work with, I can roll it up and stick it in the closet when I’m not using it.I do wish it had been rolled with the exercise surface on the inside so that I can unroll it and have it ready to go immediately. With some help I was able to roll it the way that I wanted it, so hopefully I can get it to roll that way by myself next time I use it.Overall, this is a very nice exercise mat. Yes, it’s more expensive than any I’ve ever owned, but it’s also thicker and more heavy-duty. It doesn’t move, so I feel like it’s probably worth the extra expense.

Good size, feels durable.
What can I say..Heavy duty kind of sums it up.The size, I feel, is plenty big enough for a workout.I got this thinking if it didn’t seem “soft” enough for anyone to do their routine, I’d use it as a base mat under the treadmill to save the flooring and dampen noise.But upon getting down on it bare-kneed, I believe it’s got a different journey ahead.Description said PVC-Foam. So honestly I was afraid it would be way too fragile as an equipment mat, but probably perfect for floor exercise, yoga, that sorta thing.What arrived was a decent combo of both padding, and durable-feeling material. Best of both worlds.Comes w/ 2 velcro buckle straps to keep it rolled up and neat after use, good add on.If you’re wanting some cushion to get on that workout regimen you’ve been meaning to start, or needing to replace an older mat for your current one..I’d have no qualms about recommending this one.

Hard and heavy
Its very hard. This is more meant to go under a treadmill or equipment. Im a fitness instructor and was hoping to take this to class to keep my whole body off the floor. I wanted something bigger than a yoga mat. There’s not alot of give or cushion in it at all. Its pretty heavy and unfortunately won’t work as a fitness mat, unless i put a softer mat on top.

Website pictures and description are very accurate. Logo imprint looks nice and adds a touch of class. Came with two large compression straps for easy storage. Mat is clearly made of a high quality dense long wearing material with very good non-slip characteristics both on top and bottom. As this is not a thick pad and it does have some impact absorption it will be limited if placed on a hard floor and obviously much better if over carpeting better so expectation should be tempered accordingly. Although I have plenty of experience with exercise mats and I have done my due diligence in evaluating this as an exercise pad in full disclosure I must tell you that I ordered this mat with an alternate use in mind and it has exceeded all expectations: I’m using it as a pad in a near galley sized condo kitchen and it fits perfectly. The kitchen flooring that came with this condo is that hard tile that turns into a skating rink with just a few drops of water and also shatters everything dropped upon it: this pad solves both those problems beautifully and feels very nice underfoot. Surfaces is durable, stain resistant, easy to clean and the pad pad folds or rolls up easily for cleaning underneath. For both intended and alternate uses this is a great pad and a great value – highly recommended.

Sturdy well-made workout mat that doesn’t slip on your floor.
Really love this mat! It is thick and sturdy, similar length to a yoga mat, but about double the width. I should say it is not as soft as a typical yoga mat – this is meant for working out.Stayed put on my hardwood floor – did NOT slide around as I moved and jumped doing p90.One thing to note is rolled up it is a little heavier than you might think – that is not a criticism, I like the quality of the mat – it’s just quite a bit more dense than a yoga mat.If you workout at home like I do, I recommend it!

Decent mat to work out on especially if youâre doing yoga
Got this mat to put on our gym floors to give a little extra cushion while doing certain exercise exercises like yoga and what not. They work great, I just was not a huge fan of the not that it had when I got it and that was just from being folded up During shipping of course. It took a while to thin itself out but to me it still looks like thereâs a crease there that I probably will never get out although Iâm doing the best I can to. I will say I was hoping the thickness of the mat was a little bit better, it is fairly thin, but I also understand that this is not a super expensive mat as well so I did take that in consideration.

Nice, thick pad under your feet
I got the 4’x6′ pad which quick sufficient sizewise for any exercises I will be doing I’m only 5’4″6 so other people’s mileage may vary when it comes to the right size. That said, the pad is very thick, and non skid making for an ideal workout space. I did several standing exercises and several on the floor and it felt good both under my feet and under my back. It rolls up easily and comes with two straps to keep it from unrolling. It’s not super light. It clocked in at 13lbs on my scale. But I consider the weight worth it for the amount of padding it provides.

Recommended for floor exercises to protect old knees.
After recovering from a fall injury, I recently started exercising again on a regular basis. This mat is prefect for protecting old knees when it’s necessary to do any floor exercises. The surface is not slippery, so it makes me more comfortable doing exercises. It was very tightly rolled when I received it, and I had a hard time getting it to lay flat at first, but after several days it flattened out nicely.
