Purpose built, bu with a few quirks
I really like this piece. It still does exactly what you buy it for well, but it’s not perfect.Cons:1. Door is a no-go in some cases.If you’re storing records AND you want to use the door, you’re hosed. The records stick out from the filing area due to the depth loss of the back wall/divider that protects the surge protector.2. Fully loaded weight causes sagging in the middle.It’s noticeable if you’re looking closely, but it’s there. I don’t know why I expected more for the price, but I did.3. Sound isolation required if using this as a single piece for powered audio/storage/spinning.Downward firing woofer here, and not the most impressive one, but when blasting at volume some skating can occur.Pros:1. Looks amazing2. Sturdy AF minus the bit of middle sag3. Serves its purpose well4. Plenty of room for not only vinyl, but knick knacks and audio gear.Tip: the feet are m8 x 1.5 if you’re looking to swap for casters. I wanted some antique looking m10 casters and spent a short time drilling and rethreading with great success.

Sliding door will not open with vinyl in the left side
It looks just as good as the pictures. Theres an issue when storing vinyl on the left, the top of the vinyl case sticks out and keeps the door from opening/sliding. Pretty big oversight considering itâs meant for records. Other than that I love it. Feels and looks sturdy but scratches easily. The parts fit perfectly together and took me about 3-4 hours to put together by myself. Having the extra outlet in the back is nice too.

Mid-Century Marvel: Stylish, Sturdy, and Easily Fixed
I love the look of this record standâit perfectly captures the mid-century modern vibe I was going for. The quality is impressive; itâs definitely a heavy-duty, well-built piece. As others have mentioned, the door does hit the records when opening, but thereâs an easy fix. Simply leave out the back panel behind the records, allowing them to slide further back. This creates enough clearance for the door to slide smoothly. Overall, a stylish and sturdy stand with a simple workaround for the design flaw.

FITUEYES isn’t in the business of doors
I wish I had reviewed more because I missed that other reviewers couldn’t close their door when putting records on the one side either. Everything else works great. It was delivered on time. My husband loves the style. But come on, FITUEYES…. the door? The point of the door was to be able to close it on both sides. Once we saw that, I immediately questioned engineering – the record cubby should have been on the side that doesn’t have the electrical at the back so records would actually fit and the door could close fully. It’s disappointing because it checked all the other boxes for what we needed and our design tastes. I can’t give a higher review because once we encountered the door, it really felt like the design was half-@$$ed, so I’ll give half @$$ed stars for it.

Fitment
Overall an attractive piece. This product gets the job done⦠mostly. If there are records in the holders, the sliding door interferes and will not open. After removing the back wall (that accommodates the power block) I was able to jimmy a few albums in far enough to open the storage door. Ultimately I had to remove the back wall and the power strip so that 12â records would fit in the cubbies.
