Durable, effective, guilt free
(pictures are after 4 uses, and how I store my sponge to dry when not in use) I bought my first 12 pk back in December 2023, and today, February 17, 2025, I have 1 sponge left. I’m buying them again. They are an incredibly strong sponge and I really like how they clean my cast irons, diamond cookware, and everything in between. Never damaged anything I’ve owned. They are long lasting. Dried quick, so to not generate bacteria. Thick and eco friendly! 10/10 recommended!

Not only are these a plus for the environment, but I love how long these last and donât get that weird odor. They clean very well and are my new go to. I will say to make sure you use the gentle part of the sponge on delicate items but other than that, theyâre the best!

Best sponge I’ve had. Doesn’t smell. Cleans better than regular sponge. I went with my hands over the plate after washing, and regular (with green or blue lining) sponge left food sticking. This got it off in a two wipes. I also like the look.It’s a bit rigid at first, but then (I do a lot of dishes) it gets to just the right rigidity. And feels sturdy and not flimsy.Mostly I like how it cleans well. And that the white stays looking good and not dingy.

Good sponges to use
I like that these sponges are naturally made and recyclable. Understandably they do break down faster than commercial plastic sponges but itʻs worth knowing they are one less thing sitting for many years in our landfill. I imagine making these kinds of sponges cost much more than plastic sponges and hopefully I can keep buying them at more than a dollar each.These sponges donʻt scratch my dishes or pans and they are a good size and thickness. They fit my hand nicely and are comfortable to use. They dry quickly and I find them good sponges to use.

Great quality!
I bought these around a month ago. I liked the reviews, I liked that it’s made from coconuts. Our other dish sponges only lasted about 3 weeks, and that’s really pushing it, before they were falling apart and had a smell, even with cold water rinsing. This one made it a month, and it is beginning to get a smell to it. It’s held up nicely, it did a great job and I could probably get another a week or so out of it, but I don’t like it when my dish sponges begin to smell. It scrubs very well, too. I do a lot of dishes for my family and I am happy with this product, I will definitely be purchasing them again. I will post pictures of my used coconut sponge next to a new one. The scrubbing part is beginning to come loose at the corners, too, but it’s not about to just come off. One corner of the sponge was cut from a knife but it held on until a few days ago.

3 Stars + 2 Stars = 5 Stars, but they could still be better.
I’m giving a 5-star rating because these don’t add plastic to the ecosphere. The sponge is better quality than typical yellow sponges attached to a green plastic scratch pad. The coconut pad is good and abrasive when new but breaks down a little faster than the green plastic. When I was a kid, they started selling green Scotch pads. They were bullet-proof… super durable. Soon after, they came attached to a yellow sponge. The sponge would wear out and literally wear away before the pad was close to being unusable. Durability isn’t something companies want in their products anymore. These coconut pads are in that same vein. They wear faster, which could be a design element, but most importantly, they don’t contain plastic. 3 Stars for quality and durability and 2 Stars for not containing plastic.

I have bought these a number of times now. They are great – durable, soft, good at scrubbing, and look cute in my kitchen. I love that they’re biodegradable. The only thing is that they do get dirty if you scrub pans with them because of their light colour, but that is to be expected.

Im Vergleich mit anderen ökologischen Schwämmen ist der AIRNEX super. Nachdem ich mich daran gewöhnt hatte, dass die Kokosschicht etwas härter ist, als bei herkömmlichen Plastikschwämmen, bin ich hellauf begeistert.Die erste Packung mit 12 Schwämmen hatte ich vor gut einem Jahr gekauft. Jetzt habe ich immer noch zwei neue übrig, denn man kann die Schwämme in der Waschmaschine mehrmals waschen und wiederverwenden. Natürlich wird die Zellulose nicht mehr strahlend weiÃ, aber sie ist ja trotzdem sauber. Wenn die Kokosschicht dann sehr “abgenudelt” ist, benutze ich sie als Putzschwamm im Bad.Entsorgung im Bioabfall – wobei ich noch keine Infos darüber gefunden habe, womit Kokosfasern und Zellulose verklebt sind. Müsste ja ebenfalls biologischer Kleber sein. Hält die Schichten zumindest sehr gut zusammen.

We were eager to go plastic-free and after much research we went with these.Many have said they don’t last long. But we are still using the same pad almost 2months on. We sterilse them weekly by soaking overnight in bleach.The only downside is the they do take a few days of use to fully soften.That said, I think there great, and so highly recommend them.Great product & great for our waterways and environment.

This sponge worked very well for the first two weeks, but soon the scrubbing side started to deteriorate, and within a month the entire scrubbing layer came off in one piece. Same story with the most of the sponges in the box. Not like Scotch brand sponges. May have to go back to those…
