I purchased the Bissell Steam Shot after my other steam cleaner broke. It had plenty of reviews and the price point was cheaper and seemed like it was more durable. There are quite a few drawbacks to the Bissell although. It takes a small amount of distilled water and about 15 minutes to heat up. There is just one output steam setting. You have to press a button and lever to get the steam out, so it makes cleaning harder especially if you are using the extension hose. While Im on that point, due to the fact that you have to steam and then put down to clean said item I am not sure how much is being sanitized because of the cooling the steam undergoes as your getting your cloth to clean said mess. I think this is an issue if you are using it to sanitize something like a bathroom toilet, it’s more so pushing pee out of crevices and then you are rubbing it reheated cooled pee all over. I make sure to still use a cleaner to disinfect post steam clean. Another issue I have faced is due to the small reservoir you can only tackle smaller cleaning jobs, after heating for 15 minutes and running the machine for a bit the red light turns on and has to reheat. If by chance you run out of water and have to refill you have to unplug the machine and let it completely cool since its pressurized till the red button in the middle drops all the way down can then be twisted off to refill. I will say the steam is not as hot as I would like it and there is no way to adjust steam output for peskier jobs, although I’m sure the reheat for this said machine would be even more horrendous if there was an output adjustment. Overall I believe you get what you pay for and this was definitely on the cheaper / more reliable side of steam cleaners, great for small jobs or target areas. I wouldn’t advise purchasing this if you wanting to clean a full bathroom top to bottom on deep clean days due to the heat output, machine warming, and reservoir.

Wow, where do I begin!I have a daycare and everything. . . EVERYTHING gets touched. Touching = GERMS ð¦ touching also means dirt and grime buildup. This brought out so much nasty I didn’t realize was there on the bathroom stool. It gets a good wipe down at the end of the week but the amount of gunk that came out of the crevices was. . . EW. I am so excited to use this on EVERYTHING! Door handles, toys, windows and mirrors, high chairs, boosters, changing table, cots, cribs and mattresses.Now to address other concerns from previous reviews. I used this steamer for a solid 45 minutes, switching out the tools to clean my bathroom. I was able to steam my shower, removing soap scum; steam the whole toilet, the mirror, the counter, sink, faucets, caulk lines, the whole 9 yards. Momma had a little fun with her new cleaning tool and after all that I still had some water and steam left over. That being said- this sucker definitely lasts so I don’t know what some other people’s issues were or how long they anticipated it to last but it worked wonderfully. I can’t address comments on water leakage other than I didn’t have any I wouldn’t expect. It’s water that’s heated to steam, there will be dripage.My ONLY complaint is the tigger to control steam can cause your thumb to hurt after a while. My hope is once I get my house and all toys initially cleaned, it won’t take as long cleaning the next time, reducing amount of time spent holding down the trigger. Overall I believe this is a wonderful tool and great price for what you get.

This works great. We bought it to clean the baseboards of the house we just bought. They were caked with dirt/dust and of course they are white. This little machine made them look like we had just freshly washed and painted them! It was unreal! Definitely worth buying for sure!

Really Good for Spring Cleaning
Great product that comes with plenty of attachments to clean those hard to reach areas. I love the extension hose with the fine nozzle to spray around my sinks, you wouldn’t believe all the black that comes out.Also great for detailing the engine bay and removing all the cakes dirt/oil. I purchased an extended warranty and do not regret it at all.
