Pleasantly surprised.
Needed some affordable, easy to store , sturdy and reusable containers for food portions for freezer and refrigerator meals. I read a lot of reviews from several different similar containers. I chose these, and I am glad I did. These have been great so far. Sturdy: yes. The plastic is not brittle. It seems to have just about the perfect amount of flex . Reusable, so far so good. Easy to store: Since they all fit inside of each other and 1 lid fits all sizes- yes! Favorite features: 1 lid fits all , stackable for storage. Surprised: They do well in dishwasher. Normally I don’t put this kind of plastic in the dishwasher, because you have dry it and doesn’t always come clean. I was desperate one day to get the kitchen cleaned , so I put 3 8 oz containers and their lids in the dishwasher. One lid had food stuck in the seal groove. I never use my heat dry cycle. When the dishwasher was finished, the containers were clean , the food was gone from the groove. Since then I put several in the dishwasher. I do not put plastic in the microwave, so I can’t rate that. They are leak proof as long as you seal them completely and don’t over fill them. Two cons:1. The 8 oz. container does not actually hold 8 oz. of liquid . Even if a fill it to the 8 oz line, a small amount of liquid oozes out the lid. But even with the “ooze”, it didn’t leak once it was sealed completely.2. The lids, especially at first , take quite a bit of strength to open. A child or someone with arthritis might have trouble opening them.

These cups are AMAZING!
My daughter is a soup FREAK, she would eat it breakfast/lunch/dinner everyday if she could! So whenever she comes over I make a huge pot of soup and send her home with most of the leftovers, however, I never seem to get my containers back lol. These are PERFECT and she absolutely loves them – they hold up super nice, don’t spill in her car, and she doesn’t have to worry about returning them – WIN WIN!

Love love love. Get rid or all your crappy plastic odd unmatching lid-missing junk: Right in the trash and figure out what to do with all the space you save. Buy a big old set of these and I promise you’ll never look back. Easy to see, label (use dry erase marker or just look through the plastic). They are plenty durable but even if one breaks it’s a few cents in the trash. There is a reason professional kitchens exclusively use these containers.

Handy for storing your garden bounty in the freezer.
I’m using these for freezing tomato juice and sauce made from garden fresh tomatoes. I prefer to use these rather than the old time square freezer “boxes”. The lids go on quite tightly making them unlikely to pop open while shifting things around in the freezer.

These look good.
I purchased these food containers for a hospital related hotel- like facility for patients and family members undergoing medical treatment. They are served meals and snacks and like to take some food items along with them to their rooms, etc. I opened the box when it arrived at my house & the containers/lids looked to be well-packed and I didn’t see any broken/cracked containers or lids. And the price was right!

Great for freezer
I love this product. They are great for freezing soups, sauces, buttermilk, etc. I write what is in the container on the lid with a sharpie, then wipe it off with a magic eraser when emptied. I like it so much I have these containers in two sizes. I might be obsessed with them.
