Solid speaker all-around.
Solid speaker, loud, clear, small.Background: I have owned a lot of computer speakers and speakers of all sizes and I work as in audio. I’m not a complete expert, but I do have a ton of experience in all things sound. For a speaker that can fit in your pocket, this thing is really good. I bought it for a vacation, so we could play music in our cabin, and it delivered well beyond my expectations. It was plenty loud, with more room to go. There is a major difference from listening to things straight from a laptop, tablet, or phone with little effort and it sounds pretty close to a real speaker setup.Battery: The battery lasted just around 8 hours of nearly continuous play. A nice feature: it shuts down after awhile if it does not detect a signal from your device. Great for saving battery and not forgetting to turn it off.Build Quality: Very durable, it seems. It has a rubber shell. I would say you could drop this off a roof and it would survive. A nice option for camping, vacations, bonfires, rugged activities where it may take some abuse, but also where a power supply doesn’t come easy and you need portability. The blue color with grey and orange accents is really nice.Sound Quality: I found the sound to be clear, with plenty of volume. There are speakers that project nicely, without being “loud” – I would not put this into that category, but those speakers cost at least 4x the price. There were times where it seemed to be getting too loud for everyone. But, for the price, that is nothing to complain about. There is a lot of bass, but not a crazy amount (which a lot of brands think more bass means good). It has a pretty even EQ; you can hear everything well. Since it is portable, just move it around the room and find the best spot where it can be heard, but won’t be in everyone’s face, isn’t bouncing off reflections like hard surfaces, and it will sound awesome.Value: Well worth the money. I will be using this a lot, i can already tell. JBL is a very experienced brand in this department. I have heard other bluetooth speakers. Although I haven’t A/B compared anything else, this one sounds just as good as anything else out there I can remember, including the more expensive JBL tube.

Great portable speaker
I recieved one of these as a gift and was shocked at how loud and how high quality the sound is. Then I found out you can link two togeather for true stero sound, so I bought a second one. Even better sound in a very compact, long lasting, easy to setup, durable package. I use them by my hot tub with no problems….. they have been dropped multiple times, been soaked with water and still function perfecrly. Does not have a 3.5mm jack if you are looking for one, but the bluetooth and app connectivity are great. I have an mp3 player from the stone age that I was going to plug in but only for nostalgia… plenty of other ways to play music. Charges fast, sounds as good as my old / larger bose sound bar, and is lighter / more compact. Impressed especially for the money!

Small but very powerful! Purchased this one to use it on our skiing trip, it easily attaches to the jacked and itâs very small and light. Now we hooked it up to our atv so we can listen to music while riding! Battery lasts a while!

It sounds so good that my wife has claimed it as her own! We were stunned by its small size and sound quality. Is it a Klipsch Horn speaker? No, but it’ll fill a medium-sized room with ease and has enormous clarity rather than the mushy sound that we feared. Size? Tiny, handheld-sized. It’ll travel anywhere with ease. It links quickly with an iPhone BlueTooth. It charges easily via its own USB cord although it does NOT have its own power block. With the number of personal electronics that we have, that’s just a non-issue. The best, it’s waterproof and can handle being outside.

A pretty good little speaker that could have been a little better.
I bought the JBL Go 4 because of it’s small size and low price. I got it from Amazon for $40. It’s smaller, lighter, and less expensive than the tiny Tribit and the mini Bose and others. Also it stands up, pointing the speaker sideways, where several other tiny speakers don’t. The small size and low weight make it easily pocketable. And I really like this color. It looks nice, and it’s water submersible, too. The sound quality is a mixed bag. The bass is decent for it’s tiny size. Upper bass is strong enough to make you think the speaker is bigger, while the mid to low bass is weak to nothing. Frequency response is a somewhat uneven. There’s little dip in the midrange, and the higher treble is weak. The EQ in Spotify helps balance that out a little, but don’t boost the bass a lot. At high volumes, the sound quality suffers, particularly if you have the bass boosted.JBL also has a sound app with an equalizer, which I have not tried. I am convinced that the big rubber JBL logo is absorbing some of that treble. I’d bet that this speaker would sound better if they just had a tiny logo in the corner, not blocking the speaker. Are you listening, JBL? Sound quality varies from song to song, even within a genre. Some songs make the Go 4 come alive, while a few songs here and there make the speaker sound a little muffled. Even the bass response will sound better on some songs, and worse on others. Turning off auto sound leveling in Spotify has helped somewhat. Overall, this speaker sounds substantially better than the cheap iHome bluetooth speaker I bought years ago. The Go 4 makes the iHome sound harsh and trebley. The Go 4 can fill a bedroom with sound, even at a few notches below the max sound level. And if you place it 2-3 inches in front of a wall, it gives the bass a little extra boost. I have not tested the battery life. Info says 7 hours, which is short, but usable. This one will charge up with a small battery USB charger, and it can play while charging. The sound is good enough for me to want to use it. And, I can put it in my pocket and carry the sound around with me. That’s what I wanted. I will get my money’s worth out of this speaker. Now to get a carabiner for my belt loop.

I totally agree with all the 5 star reviews for this little gem of a speaker from JBL. You won’t believe the sound coming out of something this small and light (6.7 oz). I think what stuck me the most was the pleasant tone and clarity of sound. It will not have deep bass like a larger speaker (physics of size), but what it does accomplish is amazing for it’s size. Attractively styled in several fun colors and feels solid and well made. The silicone covers are slightly grippy and holds it in place upright or laying on it’s back. Controls all work well. Battery life depends on volume and music type (bass heavy), but for light to medium volumes it will last 7-10 hours. Download the JBL app to get the most out of your Go 4 and easily allows stereo pairing (must be same model), EQ adjustment (I prefer the JBL signature sound), Auracast (mono signal though other JBL speakers at the same time with same feature) and battery level (app display only) to nearest 10%. Charges quick and cool with USB-C. I’m delighted with the sound in a Stereo pair. Audio latency is minimal and reasonable for dialogue too. As with all speakers, allow some time for break in and further sound improvement, but it is pretty good out of the box.An excellent fun great sounding product of which you’ll want more :-)Happy Listening!**Caveat: You need a newer source device with the more recent Blue Tooth and Codecs to make it sound it’s best. Older Android phones only have SBC codec (the most basic) which sounds dreadful and not the speaker’s fault. I compared an older Samsung S8 to a recent S23 and the sound difference is dramatic in all aspects. Older apple devices may have better codec capabilities (?).

A caixinha chegou antes do natal, o que considero uma entrega muito ágil! Ela apesar de pequena e compacta tem um som muito agradável e alto, ainda não experimentei na rua, mas dentro de casa a altura e a qualidade é bem satisfatória! Ainda não sei a duração, mas no geral eu recomendo a compra!
