Works as advertised but be mindful it will be in your field of view when phone is on the magnetic.
Product works as advertised. Things to take into consideration are:-The phone will be in the field of view unless you turn it sideways.- I used both plates in my phone case to make sure I’d have a wide surface to attach too.- it will leave the area beside it bare.Recommend the product.

Overall this is a good product. I installed it in my Jeep, which was easy to do. You’ll need to trim the rubber dash tray if you intend to permanently install it, or at least remove it entirely. It lo ks in place with a single screw and is fairly easy to assemble. Unfortunately this does not work for me. The metal disc that you need to stick to your device prevented me from using wireless charging. For me, this is a deal breaker and means I had to remove it.

Magnetic pads arenât strong
The base isnât strong enough to hold a magnetic case and the pads that come with the base wonât stay on the phone case.

Good and strong. Fits perfectly in Gladiator. Very slight movement on bumpy roads, not an issue. Much cheaper than lots of competitors.

Had high hopes, needs more work
I have a similar holder in a JT ( not 4xe ) and really like it so I was anxious to get this once I saw it for the wifeâs Wrangler 4xe. The head is smaller and will not work with a MagSafe case. You must use the metal plate and it is still not super tight so weâll have to see how it holds while driving. The metal plate is not compatible with my wireless charger but she charges with a cord. The mount has more off set on the bottom than is needed so it doesnât sit flat. Also will require trimming of silicone mat which I donât mind if we stick with the this holder. I really wanted this type of mount and I believe I can modify it to sit flush and get a different head so I gave it 3 stars but it would easily be a 5 star with a few adjustments. Look forward to seeing it done.

Disappointing, the magnet was not strong enough
Well, I have mixed feelings with this car phone holder. I installed it in my Jeep Wrangler and the magnet was not very strong while driving. I even have a phone case that has a magnet attachment for a magnetic car mount. When I drive, if the road is bumpy or a little rough, it comes off pretty easily and falls to the floorboard. The last thing I want to do is try to go âfishingâ for my phone on the floor of my Jeep while Iâm travelingâno thank you! The crazy thing is I got this for easy access in the jeep while I am on 4×4 trails, so I can quickly take videos and pictures without having to take it out of the other phone clamp style holders. I really want to like this product, but the functionality doesnât cut the mustard.
