It’s awesome and relieves unneeded suffering
I had never owned one of these before. I have a hard bedroom floor with tile on it, and it hurts to kneel. Not only does it hurt to kneel, but it makes it difficult to concentrate and to kneel very log without leaning against something heavily. Enter this product. It’s lightweight, and hard, but it feels good and very comfortable to kneel on it (I was ~225lbs last I checked); it doesn’t feel hard on my knees (just in my hands). The hardness is a good thing, though. That probably means it won’t get squashed flat so easily. It seems to rebound after I use it without leaving dents in it. Something I love about this that impressed me is I no longer feel the need to lean against something while I kneel. I don’t have a scientific explanation for that, but it’s awesome!This is a really great pad. Excellent and thick. The size is good, tooâmaybe it’s ideal. It looks nice on the floor, IMO, and is easy to move out of the way with my feet. It’s a shame I didn’t get one of these ten years ago. I sure needed one.

Ever had to look under the bed for something and could hardly get back up? Well ,with age this item can help with taking pressure off your knees while down and when getting up. Very sturdy and thick to absorb your weight and give your knees support and balance. Came is various colors, I selected blue. Easy to slide in a corner or on a shelf.

Wish I had gotten this much sooner
Not only is this good for gardening work – it is great inside as well. Great for kneeling on tile floors when cleaning or working on plumbing under the sink. I wrap with a protective bag when I use outside. The density of the pad is remarkable – it is light in weight but very comfortable when using – I had seen this item recommended in Better Homes and Garden magazine and it is quite remarkably good.

Less cushioning than expected
I like the thickness of this pad (it will definitely keep your knees out of the wet grass and mud), but it is much harder than I expected. Similar pads are made with a softer foam which has more “give” for a softer, more comfortable feel. This one is made with a very rigid foam and doesn’t provide the same cushioning effect.

I’m an old guy and have a hard time doing my kneeling exercises. This is great for my knees – it’s not a spongy soft pad, but soft enough to make it easy on the knees. It’s also very thick so I believe it will last. I weigh about 200lbs so I got the thick pad to ensure it would hold me – I believe it could take a lot more weight, maybe up to 300 lbs.

SUPER HARD! (Which might not be a bad thing)
My wife has Fibromyalgia, she is sensitive about a LOT of things, shoes, pants, pillows, etc. This being one of them.When I was removing them from the packaging I knew immediately that she was not going to care for them.I will say that I like them, so we’ll keep them. (We have many variations of gardening knee pads)These are the most firm that I have ever experienced, we bought TWO because we ‘assumed’ that they would be like most others, way too soft, but…So, we definitely didn’t need TWO because one is definitely enough.Your knees WILL NOT feel like they are touching the ground anymore, these will not allow that to happen.(I weight 200lbs and I cannot kneel down like I could when I was younger, my knees are really sensitive when on concrete)If you want SOFT, look elsewhere, if you want a really FIRM pad, this is for you!They are made very well and I (not my wife though) have ZERO PROBLEMS with the transaction or the product itself.

Too Hard – Not the Same as it Used to Be
I bought this previously and it was quite a bit softer. It should be fairly hard vs. some others which are too soft to use outdoors, but this one is so hard that it is barely better than the ground IMO. Now if you are very heavy it might be fine. I’m 175lbs.
