Healthy and wholesome
Im shocked that this doesn’t have 5 stars across the board. Every ingredient in it is great and you can use it as an ingredient in so many things. Pancakes, banana bread, waffles, smoothies etc. And it IMPROVES the flavor! It has a slight gritty taste but only because there are no artificial gums in it, particular Xantham Gum, which studies suggest is harmful to your gut bacteria. All natural and delicious. I did try the blueberry one and didn’t like it, but the vanilla one will never leave my kitchen

Very Sweet
This is good but VERY sweet and slightly chalky. My best recipe for it is: 1 cup water, juice of one whole lemon (2-3 tbsp), two scoops vanilla powder, and a handful of frozen spinach. It blends into more of a juice but is filling and the lemon really helps cut the sweetness.

10/10 ð¤©
Vegan bodybuilder here! Iâve tried the hot cocoa, choc pb. Coconut almond chocolate, blueberry muffin. Been buying from this brand for almost a year now. Never any complaint. I mix it in with my oatmeal. And love the blueberry muffin flavor for smoothies. Great ingredients. Great price. Great taste. No complaints at all. Canât really vouch for how it tastes as just a shake (liquid and protein powder). But for my oatmeal and the occasional fruit smoothie itâs the best tasting and easiest digesting vegan protein powder Iâve found. Donât think Iâll ever use another brand.

a sad ending?
Recently I started looking for a shake mix to use while traveling. To my delight Naked shake exists! I already loved their unflavored protein for daily smoothies, so it was the logical next step in our relationship. I read some reviews and it was obvious, get some. But shoot, what flavor? And there is no smaller sampler size? I don’t know which one I want. $40 just to try one is a little steep. Happy to pay for samples I emailed them. Got the response: no samples for shake flavors. That’s it. Nothing else. No, nice ot meet you thanks for asking. No, thats a good idea, I’ll send you some. Or heres a link. Or coming soon. Nothing else, just no.So I read more reviews and picked a flavor that lots of folks seemed to like. The day came. My shake mix arrived at my door and I excited mixed up a scoop for a sample! Finally.UGH! Disgusting. I couldn’t even finish one small shake. When it hit my taste buds I wanted to puke it up. It was nightmare inducing. I’m still recovering. It was one of those lifelong food events that you will never forget. Anytime I smell something like it now I have vivid memories and my stomach turns. So I guess now what? Can I just request a refund – nope. Can I get other samples – nope. Can I use this for something – nope, well maybe the container will make a good cat toy.I’m sad honestly. A little mad, but mostly sad. I want a Naked shake flavor. I want to progress our relationship, but I’m a little miffed now. Since I’m finishing my last 5lb of unflavored naked pea I’ll look for some alternatives.I want to love it, but it doesn’t love me back. Is this the end?

Taste great but has a gritty taste
I love that it has no artificial sweeteners in it it taste really good but it definitely has a grittiness to it no matter if you put it in water or milk itâs a little better if you make a smoothie I would try it again maybe a different flavor just for the fact that itâs hard to find a protein powder with no artificial sweeteners in it

Great tasting protein shake and handy top removal trick
Needed some protein boost for endurance running training and came across these guys. Thought I’d try their Vanilla Whey Protein, enjoy that quite a bit and made shakes with that. Decided to go with this Strawberry Banana, great taste and now just add milk, shake it up, and it’s a great tasting protein shake. I’m sold on these guys and NOT having to use either Stevia and/or Monkfruit powders. Also, I too found that initially the top was impossible to unscrew. What worked for me was to take a table knife and gently go around the lid and pry it out a bit. Not enough to crack the plastic, but just a small amount. After I did that, the lid came off very easily. YMMV, but this worked great for me.Net is I think this is a high quality product that mixes well with milk.

Great for mixing into smoothies.
I absolutely love this product. I mix it with my smoothies and have no problems with it. It adds a nice peanut butter cup taste to all my smoothies. It smells like Nesquik, which is delicious. I don’t like protein powders by themselves, so I never just shake them up and drink them. It didn’t upset my stomach and the ingredients worked well with my sensitive stomach. The consistency and thickness are based on how much you put in.TL;DRGreat product when mixed into smoothies.

So to begin with I have tried lots and lots of different protein powders out there and have thrown a lot of money away. I am vegan so finding a protein powder is essential. So first the lid, yes it’s very tight. I just got out my bartender’s wine corkscrew opener and pulled the tab/ lever part out and wedged it under the edge of the lid and kind of braced it against the side of the bottle and pulled up which causes the lid to pull out from the neck a bit. I did this all around the lid about 2/3 of the way and the lid just opened easily. You could probably do this with a spoon or a butter knife as well but the corkscrew actually kind of braces nicely under the edge of the lid and was very stable. Now the powder, It’s very vanilla, the people who don’t think so may be drinking it with a bunch of other stuff in it because mine is very nice smelling. the texture is really good for pea protein, it has no gums in it so it doesn’t turn into a hard partially wet mass and mixes very well with Ripple pea milk. I’m not big on huge sweetness so I do find it a bit sweet for me but I am getting some of the unflavoured and will do half and half. I has all of the essential amino acids and I think all the remaining ones as well. It is not chalky at all in my opinion but I am used to some truly unpleasant vegan powders that are slimy, chalky, so sweet it makes your head hurt, contain stevia which is revolting or gummy. I think if you find it chalky you may be used to whey protein because this is very good. I don’t mix it with water but a milk that is a little thickened so the texture may be different with different liquids and it also stays mixed quite well with the milk I use although I do shake it before I drink because I just take it as powder and milk with no other additions. I found another great protein powder but I had a lot of B vitamins in it and I am really sesitive and don’t sleep well with too many B’s but this is good, doesn’t have a load of gums or weird stuff added and I can get 40-60g of protein in easily out of what I try for which is 100g per day, yes, I am almost a daily failure in this but I try. So now I finally found something I think I can use long term after so many fails, I am grateful.

Are you like me? Does the taste of stevia make your skin crawl? Does any artificial sweetener make you gag? Then this is the UNFORTUNATELY EXPENSIVE protein powder for you. Taste is great!

Best tasting protein powder Iâve tried in a long time!

Like others mentioned, the lid is almost impossible to get off short of blowing it off with dynamite (after days of trying every single internet hack, the only thing that worked was using the spoon trick). As for the protein powder itself, it took some getting used to (although in all fairness Iâm a newbie to protein shakes) so I found it overly sweet in the beginning. I tried mixing it with various non-dairy milks and surprisingly, the one I find works best to cut the sweetness is non-sweetened chocolate almond milk.
