Picky cat loves it!
After buying this freeze-dried food topper in its solid, cube versions from Chewy for my cat, whose name is also Chewy, I decided to buy this shaker version to save time and money since I would previously crumble up the solid version to mix with his dry food. He absolutely loves it. Whether crumbled or by me or when I sprinkle some of this powder on his food, he’ll eat it immediately! It’s also a good way to freshen up some dry food that loses its flavor after sitting there for 1-2 hours if your picky cat refuses to eat. Just like humans, cats need some type of seasoning for their foods or they would get tired of it quickly. Imagine eating the same food every day without any type of side dish or seasoning. My cat, Chewy, is a very healthy and happy boy and I can rest assure knowing that this food topper will help with his digestive health too 🙂 He is three years old right now and I love him so dearly, I’ll continue buying this product until I run out!

Must have for picky eaters!
My cats absolutely love this thing. They were picky eaters, but when I sprinkle this on any wet food, they will eat it all. Must have for picky cats!

Cat Crack
My cats go nuts for this stuff, I could sprinkle it on the floor and theyâd lick it off. It was pretty easy to introduce, even my picky senior liked it. Iâve noticed their stools have been much softer and theyâre taking less time in the litter box. However, if youâve got a kitty with a sensitive tummy maybe donât give this topper everyday. One of my plain kitties- as I call them -vomits if heâs given this topper daily.

Even our picky eater likes it
We have two cats with very different appetites. One will eat anything not bolted to the ground and the other thinks anything other than a very small list of approved items is poison. I’m happy to say that even our picky eater likes this Instinct Raw Boost Shaker, though we do need to give her a bit less than our other cat. The cats seem to really enjoy it and we’ve been using it now for a couple of months.

This is not the same recipe as the chunks!
I was hoping my little old girl would eat this as well as she had been the chunks. I had been buying the small bags and crushing them up to help with her chronic constipation. So when she kept eating it, she is 17 and sooo picky, I ordered the shaker of digestive health. Unfortunately, they add a whole bunch of other stuff that she is not real happy with and is now refusing to eat it after just a few weeks. I really wish they could just make the digestive shake on the same as the digestive chunks, as it is a much better value. I have a big container of crushed rawboost that will not get used. I will have to go back to the few ingredient chunks and break them down myself.

Babies love this stuff!
They actually eat better food when this is sprinkled on there.

Think Iâll go back to the pellet version
I was using the freeze dried pellet version and thought this would be easier. Dosing with the pellets is easy as I could count how many I added to his food. My cat is a 6 month old Siberian (~8-9lbs currently) and these really help to prevent âpoopy buttâ in his long Sib coat. I find that he doesnât like the powder on his wet food but on the dry food it falls to the bottom so he doesnât get as much of it as he needs. Meaning – I find it more difficult to figure out how much to give him of the powdered version.Taste wise he loves the pellets and these are literally the ground version of them.

Amazing for digestion issues
My cat was having major digestive issues. Where she was very constipated, very in pain (or just very uncomfortable), and just kind of went to the bathroom where she could. More often than not on the floor. She still peed in her litter box though. We tried a couple different things her vet recommended, like she stated it was most likely where the litter box was or the type of litter we used, but it wasn’t changing anything. So I got this as a last resort, before taking her back to the vet. After a couple days of using this she’s able to go more regularly and able to use the litter box again. I’m not going to say this is a cure all for everyone, but it helped in my experience. After a couple of weeks there was a significant change and I personally would be using this regularly. The only reason I’m leaving a review, is because I came back to buy a second one. I bought this in early September. I use it for my cat’s food twice a day. I have a quarter left, and it’s been about 2 months since I bought it. I’ll probably run out around mid November. I would also note that instead of measuring it I sprinkle it so for some people it may just last longer.
