Easy to clean the silicone seal
The container is easy to close and open. Plus the seal is thick so it’s easy to pull out and clean. This is what I would purchase for my mother in law b/c her hands are small and she doesn’t have to struggle with sealing the container.

Bit harder to close
This is the first time I bought the OXO glass containers with snap lids. I have the 2-cup round, and the 1.6-cup rectangular ones. Compare to Snapware (which we have tons of but lately missing the 2-cup ones), the lids are harder to close, maybe because the plastic snaps are thicker, who knows. Hence the minus 1 star. Guess I’ll just have to get use to it.Also, Amazon Resale sold the 1.6-cup one as good as new but this is one small chip in one of the top corners. Quite amazing how they get away with it. Inspect everything.

No need to worry about breakage. These bowls are sturdy! And the lids are tight. Got them for refrigerator storage. We keep tuna salad and fruit salad ready in the fridge so we don’t have to scrounge for a light bite. The glass keeps them extra chilled.

Both 1 cup and 2 cups items delivered in excellent condition; no scratches, no cracks. There are no adhesive labels to peel off, the lids comes off easy; the silicone rings are easy to pull off and clean. The 1 cup size is perfect to put cut/diced pieces of peaches and prunes and adding blueberries. The 2 cups is absolutely perfect for bowl of prepared hot oatmeal breakfast to bring into work together with the 1 cup of fresh fruits. We do not use the lid to cover the oatmeal when microwaving. Instead use paper towel. The lid will not be damaged and easy to cover the glass bowl after use. Easy Peasy.
