Great little machine
This thing is so handy. I bought this to do some food storage. I had a 25 bag of rice I bought at my local club store go bad because it had some sort of larva in it. I had even put it in the freezer for a good 2 weeks to kill anything. Had to throw it out. So I bought this device and haven’t had anymore issues. I just place my rice or other dry goods in a jar, put on the lid, vacuum seal it and then place the jar ring on for extra protection to keep it sealed. I used the mason jars and lids. It seals fairly quickly depending on the size of jar your sealing. I’ve used it on pints, quarts and bigger. It is small enough you can put it in a drawer. I love it to use as a food saver. I’ve only had a few that the seal was broke. But that may have been due to something on the rubber seal of my lid. I have sealed quite a few jars before I needed to recharge it. Doesn’t take too long. I loaned it to my son and he used it on several bags of rice before it needed recharging. I also love how you can use it on small and wide mouth jars. Great little machine!

I have used this for boiling hot soup straight into the jar, boiled up my old reused lids and all worked well. It is so nice to have them last so long and just open a quart as needed, Of course it isn’t canned, but isn’t as much trouble as canning either and I store them in a cold place.It is quick and easy very handy.

I was a little unclear how this thing actually works, but instead of overthinking it- I just tried it after glancing at the instructions. You just load the lid in the device, put it on the jar, press the button and wait at least 40 seconds. It comes with a bunch of lids which I wasn’t expecting as well as a bottle(lid) opener. I used it on a jar filled with powder and was worried it might mess up the machine (again not sure how this works), but it did not. Depending on what you have in the jar, you can see it working, and you definitely know it worked based on the sound of the lid snapping on- creating a very strong seal.

I have just received this machine and I really can’t stop playing with it. It works a treat and does exactly as it says on the box, can’t tell about the longevity but certainly seems to be well manufactured. I would highly recommend as I’m sure it will extend the storage life of many of my products.

I really liked using this product. It worked really well on all of my small and wide mouth jars. Doesnt work on Gem jars. But they are being phased put here in Canada, no where to find lids for them.

This was the most amazing sealer. I could seal jars as they needed to be sealed. I loved not having to pull out the big machine, and attach the hose to the attachments. I easily sealed wide mouth and regular size canning jars at least 100 times in the first month using it and then it decided it just didn’t like the regular size lids and just stopped sealing them. I would use new lids, different jars, and no luck. I tried it even after a full recharge thinking maybe low power was a problem. Nada. Something has malfunctioned with the regular lid portion of the sealer. The wide mouth works fine but I am disappointed. I had hoped to be able to use this for many years…not just a few weeks. It also is rather slow, but I pop the sealer on while I’m busy doing other things…if I have to wait for each jar to seal I do get a bit frustrated. That being said I would trade slow over not working at all. I also dropped a star rating because while it is really easy to use right out of the box, it is sometimes a wrestling match to remove it from the jar which could provide difficulty for some people. EDIT: 3 days after the previous review the wide mouth sealing portion also quit. Now its just an expensive piece of trash.
