    I cannot believe how much useful information was packed into this book. I learned so much . The author presents the information in a easy to understand way. I appreciate the way the book is formatted also. I liked seeing the recipes sprinkled throughout the book and the beautiful illustrations were perfect for recognition and recall in the future. I’ve even found myself taking notes to reference different issues that are common in my family so that I can look a little deeper into the herbal supplementation for inflammation and gut health.Near the end of the book, the author goes into an intriguing idea of creating your own salves and ointments. However, I suspect he’s saving that detail for another book. If he does, he should expand on the chapter on integrating herbs into daily life. Those two subjects could definitely be marketed as a follow-up to this book.To be honest, any of the chapters could easily spin off into its own book since there is so much that we can do with this kind of information on our own.This is definitely a good starting point for anyone who’s interested in turning around lifestyle-related health issues. I’m giving Greenfield’s effort a five-star rating for being thorough, well researched and easy to digest.
