Quick Reference With Caution
In the safety tips, I don’t think tip #3 was for this pamphlet and was left in place from another publication. The list of herbs is impressive but there are common herbs that are left out like, Japanese Knotweed, but fruit like, lemons, are included. Adverse side effects, of each herb, are not included and the title of, “Remedies Recipe”, is a bit confusing. There are some warnings to avoid certain herbs during pregnancy or with some medical disorders but it’s not extensive. It’s still a nice quick reference but use with caution.

Fantastic at-a-glance Herbal Educator!
I take a LOT of supplements and herbs for Mold Illness and with the brain fog, I’m often getting confused about what pill/herb does what so this is a really helpful tool to keep with my pills in case I have a need for a quick reference. Sure, I could look it up on google but for some reason, when the information is in print and contains imagery of the herb next to the words, the information gets into my brain better and sticks. So I’m super happy with this purchase. it folds down to tuck away into the side of my cabinet so its there when I need/want it. Love this!

Fairly comprehensive but isn’t a recipe card
I like how this compiles a lot of data on herbs including pictures and practical uses. The list, however, seems a bit random. Obviously they’re all ancient but it otherwise feels like an arbitrary compilation. Also, it’s described in the product listing title as a recipe card. I think that’s an overstatement. For example, many items are leaves or roots and the proper dosage is provided and indicates how much to take per day and how often but there’s no mention of how long anything should steep. I understand these are herbs and not meals but if you’re going to call it a recipe then you should offer the kind of info that one expects from a recipe which is how it should be prepared.Overall I think it’s a good reference and fairly priced especially since it’s on a hardy coated paper but I’m personally going to continue looking for additional resources to supplement my knowledge.

A lot of good information
This reference card has a lot of good information. It’s a glossy, thick, laminated reference sheet. The card has so much information on plants used in herbal medicine and despite all the information, it’s still clear and legible. There’s just enough information for me to use as a memory jogger with dosages. I recommend using this card along with several other herbal resources to get more in depth information on each herb before using the herb to support your health. My only complaint is that despite the quality of the card and graphics, the card I recieved was folded terribly and the pages offset. It just makes me so annoyed to use it.
