My senior Beagle has favored his back legs since I rescued him from the shelter. After a vet examination, we discovered he had a bullet lodged in his back end and a torn ACL. Due to his age, the vet advised against surgery, saying it would likely be more costly than effective. Since he still got around without much complaint, we opted for a more conservative approach.Several people recommended trying glucosamine for his hip pain, so I gave these a shot. After just a few days of these “treats”âwhich he absolutely lovesâI noticed him running around the backyard as if he had no pain at all! It was almost comical to watch, but incredibly reassuring. So far, heâs had no stomach issues or adverse reactions, which is a huge plus.The only downside? Theyâre currently unavailable for reorder on Amazon and nearly double the price on another site. I really hope they restock soon!

Glucosamine Treats â Well Packaged but just a Little Crumbly. These Hemp chews are good sized treats (see pix) but a tiny bit crumbly around the edges with some small specks all around the container. They seem safe enough, and they seem tasty, at least to my dog â she eats them right up. You could say that about any treats. These treats have the same active ingredients used in such supplements for humans, namely glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, and tumeric , so they should be beneficial over time. Of course your pet could react differently; but they do seem helpful, so Iâm giving them my 5* rating.

Hip and joint supplement
My dog enjoys the taste of these and eats them as if they were a treat. Theyâre small and soft to chew which is nice for smaller pups or dogs with any teeth missing. I like the ingredients and found theyâre comparable to other brands of hip and joint supplements for dogs.

Slightly different ingredients than the ones Iâd been getting, but so far so good
I’ve been trying out different versions/brands of the same basic hip/joint chews for my 13-year-old dog, and these ones are a lot cheaper than one of the brands that I’d been getting for a while, but the ingredients are slightly different, too.For example, this one has 100mg fewer of the glucosamine and the chondroitin than the previous ones I’ve gotten, and I think this one has Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil (which the other one didn’t) but doesn’t have hemp oil (which the other one did).But my dogs seem to like them, so at least they’re similar enough to the other ones, and the dosage (chews per lbs) is the same, so hopefully they’ll work out well. The ingredients aren’t drastically different in type or amount, but I’ll be keeping an eye on my older dog to make sure that these are having the intended effect on him.

Our dog loves them
Our dog thinks itâs a treat, she lives the taste. Our 14yo Catahoula has lost a bit of her speed when chasing the neighborâs cat, so we thought weâd see if these would help. Sheâs about 35lbs so we give her three every morning. No change to note yet, but itâs only been about a week.Checking the ingredients it appears to be just as good as more expensive brands so I would say it is a good value. She really likes how they taste.

My picky eating GSDs loved the chews. Glucosamine does seem to be helping my aging sweeties. It is one of those things that either works or doesn’t. Time will tell for me if I continue to give it to them, but as for these chews, they appear to be high quality, don’t stink, and my dogs loved them.

Good product!
My two dogs are 15 years old and have been on these for the last couple of years. Two years ago they started having bad mobility issues (both are around 90lbs) and the vet suggested this type product. These are priced well and the dogs love them. They have kept my dogs active and gave them a good quality of life so far.
