I canât get over how amazing this bed is. Got the xxl jumbo cooing bel. It is extremely thick, and if I was crazy enough, I would sell my current human bed and just sleep in this bed WITH my pitbull! Amazing and comfortable!!!

I did extensive searching to replace my old dog’s bed when he passed and I was getting a new 4-year-old Cardigan Corgi. The last bed I we had was a Serta and lasted for 14 and a half years with little wear or tear. But with a new dog, he deserved a new bed. I knew I wanted a bolster bed because of my experience with at least this breed, they enjoy the bolster beds the best. So I went on the search for a decent bolster bed that wasn’t going to cost $140, which is what a comparable bed to the Serta bed that I had purchased over 14 years ago. I found this bed and I read the reviews. I questioned some of them but I was comfortable with the 60-day return policy. When I got the Furhaven, I only had to put the cover on the base which was extremely easy (and I’m severely disabled), and my boy Beaux, loves it! I read some concerns about stitching and some about lack of support, but I didn’t find any of these problems with the Cooling Gel style bed I received. I feel the workmanship on this bed, at least so far, is excellent, the zippers are great, and the initial installation which took all of about 3 minutes, and as I said I’m severely handicapped, was super easy and the bed is supportive, comfortable and very nice looking!

Worth the price?
I have 2 large male dobermans (A 7 year old, 100lb & and a 7 month old 70lb). I bought this bed as an extra since I recently purchased a different orthopedic bed, without bolsters, from Amazon and my 7 year old doberman constantly has his head or butt hanging off of it and the 7 month old is constantly trying to kick him off of it.It was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Not as fast as my prime orders, however, I wasn’t waiting forever for it either. It came delivered in what I can only describe as a giant marshmallow (see pics). I opened it up, and found a sticker label instruction (also, see pics). I was immediately worried that they had sent me the wrong item because it said to “feel through the cover and find foam that has clumped together” and then to massage it apart. This was supposed to be a one piece orthopedic memory foam “mattress” bed, not a bunch of shredded pieces. But I continued on with the hope that I hadn’t been sent the wrong item. And I hadn’t. The beds bolsters are made of shredded foam, that you’ll need to massage to break up the pieces that get stuck together from the marshmallow packaging. Easy enough, no big deal.The actual bed part (excluding the bolsters) does feel comfortable, and it does include two layers like described in the items description. I saw somebody posted a picture that the bed they recieved was made from “egg carton” style foam and that worried me a bit, but was not the case with the bed I recieved. The orthopedic foam in the bed part was dirty, but maybe that’s normal?? The bed part and the holster part of the bed each have their own zippers to remove the cover, which is nice.I gave this bed 4 stars, only because the instructions say to let the bed expand over 48 hours. And right now (20 minutes after opening it) the bolsters do not look anywhere near as firm and filled as the picture in the item description. The bed part isn’t as full as the pictures make it look either, so I’m assuming after the 48 hours recommended for the “expanding” process, it will be an awesome bed.I will edit this review in a few days to update it and raise (or lower) my rating, and decide if this is a bed I would recommend for large dogs or not. Also, I purchased the Jumbo size, and both of my large dobermans fit well on it. (See pics)

Great big fluffy bed for great big floofy dog
Ok, I have a huge friggin dog and my princess needs a LOT of room to lounge and to sleep. I initially cheaped-out and bought a much less expensive doggie bed but when my hubs came home and gave it the foot test, it apparently failed (for those of you who aren’t aware, the ‘foot test’ is when you step on the doggie bed and see whether or not you can feel the floor underneath, basically checking to see if there’s sufficient padding). After that experience, I decided to seriously upgrade and found this amazing bed. It’s not only super plush and comfy, but it’s actually large enough for my 11mo old Rottie Zara (see pics). She can stretch out on it all the way and there’s still room on the sides. There’s also some sort of cooling gel insulation that she just LOVES bc she gets overheated pretty quickly in summertime. Sometimes at night I’ll see her move up to the fan on the bare floor but then after about 10-15 min I’ll hear her rumbling back to her bed and she plops down and falls asleep so peacefully that she starts going into a deep, snore-tastic sleep in about 5 min. Long story short, if you have a big ass dog that needs a nice, comfy bed, this is well worth it! I mean just look at Zara, she literally won’t ask for belly rubs elsewhere.

Unpacked the box with the bed which had been jammed so tightly into he box, the boaters all around the bed are broken and flat. For the price of this bed the shipping of it should have been much better. I am very disappointed with the quality of the bed. I would not recommend

Notre chienne semble lâapprécier !Ma seule plainte est que jâaurais aimé que le bord soit mieux rembourré et plus solide. Elle aime se reposer le menton ou se soutenir sur les bords, et il manque cette capacité de soutien. Les autres lits que nous avons eus par le passé avaient beaucoup plus de rembourrage le long du bord.Cependant, la housse du lit sâenlève facilement et se lave bien.Je ne suis pas tout à fait sûr de son effet rafraîchissant, car il y a de la polaire sur le dessus. Par précaution, jâai ajouté un tapis de refroidissement en gel en dessous.
