Works great as a long charging cable for my Android cell phone
The flexible cable with a fabric covering makes this a wonderful long cord for plugging my cell phone in to charge over night. The extra length is very useful for my needs.Although this is advertised for gaming console use, it seems to work just fine for the majority of USB-A to USB-C applications. I don’t know if it has the special circuitry to support high voltage, high power charging applications or not. I use an old “dumb and slow” USB wall brick as I am in no hurry to charge my phone and I think that lower charge rates might yield longer battery cycle life from reduced heating.

Not sure why it only advertises it works for gaming consoles. It is a USB C so it works with a lot of phones and other devices. I got it to work with my pixel 7, it doesn’t have quick charge on it though, so that is not good. But it is nice and long so that is a plus. But I wish it charged faster.

Good quality, good value
These are solid braided usb-c cables. They are flexible, sturdy, and at 10 feet, an extra long length.The usual weak spot on USB cables is the connector on the device end. This connector is reinforced and seems quite durable. The cable bends nicely and has a lot of flexibility.And also important, the cable is fast. I tested it with my Galaxy S10 and charging time was the same as with the OEM cableWhile these cables are certified to work with Nintendo Switch, they have universal compatibility and will work with any usb-c device.

Let’s face it. You want to be able to look at your phone while in bed but don’t like having to roll over halfway because you’re confined by the 3′ cord that came with your phone.Have some slack and get comfortable!I have to clean the charge port out on my Pixel fairly often because pocket dust happens. Thus, I have issue with cheaper cables not seating well. These grab fairly tightly. They also work for your vehicle’s USB connection for Android Auto, so you have some cord length available to put your phone on a dash mount or the like without having to account for a stupid cable run that might put bends or pinches in it.Yeah, they’re pretty thin, but I don’t feel like I’ll be swinging my phone over my head with them. Stationary usage should see quite a decent lifespan.And yes, we can confirm they work properly with a Switch, too.

Good cable – charges and connects to devices with no issue
I selected this cable mainly to be able to charge USB C devices. I tested the cable with an iPad Air, an Amazon Fire Tablet, and a Samsung Android Phone. They all charged without issue, including supporting fast charging on the devices that support it. I also tested the cable by connecting the devices to the docking station of my laptop to ensure that the device could be seen and confirmed that they could be seen by the laptop.I can’t comment on the long-term durability of the cables (this is where cheap cables fail really fast) since I have only had them for a few weeks, but if they fail in the near future I will make sure to update my review.

A little thin but otherwise do what they advertise
Pros: long cables, braided, they actually fast chargeCons: the wires themselves are thin so not likely to last.Bottom line: they’re usb-c cables that will charge your switch/phone/whatever usb-c accessory. They’re long. They’ll work and if they go bad, you aren’t out a ton of money.

I have over a dozen Talk Works cables by now and each and every one of them has been reliable. This one is no exception. Most have been reviewed, and my prior comments apply equally here. So I want to focus here on what sets this one apart from most, and that is its 10 foot length. I have more and more devices that not only require USB C for charging, but allow continuous operation as long as the device remains connected to the power sourceâe.g. lights and light duty power tools, etc. This is when that 10 foot length becomes much appreciated.
