Worth every penny
I honestly hesitated to buying it for my grandbaby cause it’s pricey but omg it is really sturdy and just fits right. Baby loves it and the color is just a bonus to it. I guess you can say price doesn’t really matter at times to ensure safety and comfort in one.

My favorite car seat
I have 3 kids and have had several UPPAbaby seats through the years and their entire travel system plus all the accessories. I have always loved the convenience and style of the UPPAbaby car seat but with my 3rd baby, we originally wanted to try out another brand similar to UPPAbaby that was baseless as we needed the flexibility of no base when trying to squeeze 3 large car seats in my car. While that other brand’s seat was convenient, it just didn’t feel as secure as the UPPAbaby seat.My husband was actually in a vehicle accident with 2 of my kids in the car (everyone was save, except the truck was totaled) and because of that, we had to get all new car seats, fortunately covered by insurance. Thankfully my baby wasn’t in the truck at the time, but the empty carseat from the other brand we had tested out was in there and then needed to be replaced. Instead of getting the same one from the other brand, we knew we immediately should go back to UPPAbaby because we trust the brand to keep our kids safe, even after testing other luxury brands. I’m thankful to have this seat and have trusted it with all 3 of my kids.It is also easy to take in and out of the car. I love that it has the slots to hold the buckles back, and has many inserts that can be taken out as baby grows. I do wish it was a little lighter and and possibly accommodated a bigger baby, but I think that’s just part of how the seat as to be. I wouldn’t say it’s too heavy because honestly when you’ve got a 90th percentile 6 month old, any carseat is heavy! That said, my daughter is large (very long) and is starting to outgrow it already. Overall though, I have been very happy with this car seat.

Good car seat but could be better
I like this car seat because it works with my stroller system and you can easily put it on and off the stroller (which was the original reason why I made this purchase). However I realized later that I don’t use the car seat on my stroller frame that often.I think it looked a bit uncomfy when my baby was a newborn – she seemed to be really sunken in and slouched even with the newborn insert. It wasn’t until she got to around 12-14 pounds that she seemed to fit better in it and looked more comfortable.
