really good compression, comfortable, must double check sizing (yours and theirs)
Really good compression, check calf/ankle sizing, slightly more snug than other brands (even within theirs).I’m no stranger to compression socks. I have been buying and wearing them for at least a decade now for fluid retention from venous insufficiency and varicose veins. Fun. So I have dozens of pairs that are comprised of a mix of 15-20mmHg, and 20-30mmHg. I use the lighter compression for days that my legs aren’t holding water and am looking for a circulation boost. I walk a lot, and am on my feet a lot, but sometimes I sit at my desk for long periods of time and find my ankles swelling- the lighter compression helps keep my fluid retention at a minimum. I use the higher compression when it is going to be a humid day (more fluid retention) or in response to heavy, achy, fluid filled legs, ankles, and feet. Also either, for any travel. That being said, these 15-20mmHg are offer more compression than some brands of similar compression. Even within their own brand. It could be a matter of sizing- smaller fit, more compression. When looking at sizing, go based on your calf measurement as well as ankle measurement. NuVein included foot size, but that is just a guide. My ankles are 10.5″, and my calves 17.75″. This would put me into a size large. (shoe size is 10, and that would put me at medium- no way- so that is why I mention to kinda overlook the shoe sizing). I have the XL. I think if I had the size large, it would be extra difficult to put on. I imagine it would go on, but it would take some struggle that some people may not have. It needs to be snug, so keep that in mind. Right now, I find the XL in this particular pair of socks to be snug. I can see that the material is stretched out enough to kinda see through them a bit at widest part of calf (I even remeasured my calf to make sure it was 17.5″- it is). They are comfortable, and not too hard to put on, but I think large would have been too difficult. I happen to have another pair of socks by NuVein in an open toe type (love it for summer), same compression and size, but feels much looser (almost not as effective), and therefor should have gone with large.I feel the pleasant circulation boosting tingle as I wear these. They are typical in weight, yet they look nice as they have a print. So much better than the older, thicker, medical looking edema socks. Choices are good!I will add that if you are at all sensitive to seams, the socks that have additional colors or patterns have threads inside that may very well indent your skin (temporarily) if you are dealing with swollen legs/edema. ALL of the compression socks by any brand- if they fit snug as they are supposed to- and have some sort of pattern, they have the thread seams where the colors change. I included a pic of the sock turned back so you can see. It may not be an issue at all for you, but for some it might be. I get the indents, but it goes away quickly enough that it won’t stop me from buying patterned compression socks at this time.As for toe seam- it sits on top of toes, a little ways back. Toe area is stretchy with no special compression (same with heel). Toes do not get squished together. Lots of room to move.Compression through arch area feels really nice. I like this especially after I have been on my feet all day (without compression socks), and for when I have been doing a lot of walking (and I have these on). It just gives this energy return feeling- can feel the circulation.Top band keeps the socks up, but doesn’t cut off my circulation, or make that area itchy from being too tight.4 stars because these are really good compression socks. The sizing is odd (and I have come across this among other compression socks), but worth trying them until you get good fit.

Much to Small and over priced
Socks were much to smaller and tighter than advertised. Extra Wide Self-Adjusting Top Band was not true. Size chart was totally unreadable and incorrect. I should have been warned when I saw there was a no return policy. I should have read the reviews before I purchased. Caveat Emptor.Joe Hegedus

Fit way too tight in the calves for the size chart
These socks were very hard for me to get on my feet and legs without pain. When I did pull them up, they were so constrictive on my right calf that it started feeling crampy right away. I could only tolerate them on for a few minutes before I had to take them off. My calves are approximately 16″ circumference at thickest point, which according to the size chart would have put me in the upper end of the size L range (11.75-17.25″) or well within the size XL range (12.5-19″). Also the fabric on top of the foot, where the foot meets the shin, scrunched up and felt like it was painfully pinching if I moved my foot or tried to walk in them. The material was a nylon and spandex blend that is thin and would probably be a good set of socks for using when skiing or snowboarding, if it fits your legs and feet properly. The shoe size chart is useless. I wear size 9.5 US size women’s shoes and that isn’t even on the chart and would seem to be smaller than the medium size on the chart.
