my buddy Luke:
I am a vet and I have a dog, Luke. He’s a large dog of 3 years old. I adopted him from a shelter when he is just over one month. Luke is smart and he learns skills quickly. We enjoy playing Frisbee on the wide grass.

Once we were playing in the field, Luke Chased the ball and disappeared into the grass. When he came back to me, his foreleg was raised. Then I know he fell down on a slope. I cleaned the wound and bandaged it as soon as we got home. The original blanket did not fit Luke anymore, so I tried to make a new bed for him.
I found a sponge and a flannelette from the warehouse. I sewed them together with a needle and thread. Luckily, Luke liked it. His injured foreleg recovered day by day. At that time, I happened to realize how important a comfortable bed is for a dog.
My Vision:

iâm impressed.
i have a german shepherd and lab mix that is very destructive, but i trust the durability of this bed a lot after seeing him chew on it and scratch it without damaging it. he has never been able to have a bed of his own. my dog, Knives, has torn apart the walls, floors, and most things we have tried to give him. itâs not his fault, he is active and gets anxious. this bed is a good choice if your dog is similar.i chose this bed because of the reviews from people with active pittbulls and german shepards that have been using theirs for years.it came in the box with both pieces rolled up and wrapped in plastic, it was the mattress and the cover. very easy to take apart and put together, the zipper on the bottom opens around it so you donât have to struggle with the setip. it didnât smell like anything like most things i have ordered online so we definitely appreciated that. the padding is amazing, i tested it. the material on the inside (for the mattress) is durable, but doesnât make any noise despite it being waterproof. (sometimes cheaper stuff like this makes a noise when you use it, but this one doesnât.) it is very aesthetically pleasing, looks very nice. the material is soft, but still sturdy. the size was perfect, i just got one a little bigger than him⦠itâs all worth the money.iâm thinking about getting him another color.(update: we got one for our beagle mix.)

This is a great dog bed! I have a golden retriever and we fits comfortably in the large size! It seems very comfortable and warm as my dog uses it every night. I appreciate it because it is easy to remove the cover and wash it, something I have done many times already with a new puppy. Highly recommend. Great Value for the price!

Good quality, a nice size for a 90+ lbs with plenty of room for them. I have not tried to wash this bed, but the padding can be removed from the bottom, but I do not see any way to remove the bumper paddling so not sure how easy it would be to wash this item. Functionality is great, good design, not sure how easy to clean, Easy to assemble.

Watch out if you have a top load washer with an agitator
This was a super soft bed that my dog loved, but it didn’t survive the wash. The bolsters can’t be removed from the cover and they started coming apart at the seams after only two washes, spilling foam out everywhere. I imagine it’s only a problem because I have a top load washer with an agitator, so I assume the product would be fine for anyone with a front load, but I wanted to warn others who also might not have thought about that before purchasing. There are alternatives with removable bolsters that will last longer.

Perfect Size
I have a 100 lb great dane in a 54 x 37 x 45 in kennel. This kennel is solely for bed time because she likes to chew on things sheâs not supposed to but Iâve had trouble finding an orthopedic bed that fits her large kennel. This one is perfect! Sizing is accurate, color is accurate, not as thick as I imagined it to be but still very comfortable. I now pray that it holds up the durability test because my girl sometimes gets bored and tears things up lol.
