Very solid, well built bar. 2 piece design, easy assembly. Does have some weight, 5 pounds or less, (I did not weight it). Overall 5 star. Amazing product.

Hello,We purchased two of these bionic bars four years ago. They work just as good as olympic bars for building muscle. They do not bend with all of the cable attached at once. They rotate properly without sticking.They are excellent for building biceps and triceps, along with wide upright rows for shoulders.I think you get the point. Its the best cable bar at the best price on the market.

an effective training tool
I really like these bands. They are longer than usual, well constructed, and have a good feel in the elasticity. The carabiners also have a heavy solid feel , and are an attractive black. The only negative I have is with the handles. They are curved, not straight. For others that may not be an issue, but I didn’t like them. I changed them out for a pair of ” Perfect” brand handles to which I attached the carabiners. Every workout so far has has been great. There are many videos on YouTube about muscle building with resistance bands. If you are looking for a good home bodybuilding tool, give these a try.

Pick it for the price
I tried not to think too much about the value price on this Bionic Bar. If it could stand 150-200 pounds, I would be happy with it and so far, it has. I’ve seen where others have had trouble with the welds coming out of the end but mine feel good and strong, plus I have a welding gun if they do come out. One of the things I like about this bar is it replaces my obliques bar (bar over shoulders, twisting side to side) and it help up fine with 150 pounds of bands while doing barbell curls, knelt tricep extensions. I did have a little trouble getting the bars to go together at first but it was mainly because I was twisting the wrong bar, the threads are very good quality and once you’re twisting the bar the right way it goes together easily. It’s also small enough even when put together that I can set it against a wall and not worry about anyone tripping over it or running into. I’m giving it five stars for being inexpensive and so far working just fine under relatively heavy-resistance. I’ll update it if it gives me any problems.

Great quality for the price
I was hesitant to purchase this after reading the reviews and looking at a couple of photos with the ends broken off. A couple other bars I was considering used plastic on the ends and not metal loops with swivel bearings. So ordered, received and pleasantly surprised! The bar has a nice weight to it; foam grip feels good; screws together easily and stays tightened; swivel loops on each end are super smooth. Lastly, the bar looks really nice! I like the versatility with this in my home gym since I donât have access to cable machines like lat pull down and row. This bar can do both nicely with resistance tubes. Definitely would recommend especially for the price. Has 2 year warranty as a bonus.

Seems to be very well made.
Very nice and heavy. Solid steel with fine threads to help keep it from coming loose. I pretty much just got this and have used it twice now so I am probably going to update this later. I am pretty excited now because it seems to be very well made and works great with the rubber tubing that I have. I have done bicep and triceps curls and several shoulder exercises and this bar is great. My wife is liking it also for some upper body work. I am planning for this as a great travel workout device to take along for camping. So far I am very happy with this and would recommend to anyone who is looking for using their bands for good exercises with out needing to anchor to a door or something else.Updating , I have had this for a few months now and still thinking it is a great product, I have had no issues and use it several times during my daily work outs. If you us the tubing for your work out then this would be a nice addition for you.

Great Buy!
I absolutely LOVE this bar. I work out both at the gym and from home and this bar lets me do the same if not more than what a barbell would at the gym. I feel the bar is well made and sturdy. I donât need it to collapse so I used lock tight on the center connecting threads as they would move slightly during a workout the first time I used it but this is no big deal and didnât interfere with the movement. Resistance bands attach easily. I use it with carabiners as well as long loop bands. Game changer for at home workouts. So glad I purchased this product.

I bought this to go along with my Fitness Insanity resistance bands that I also bought on Amazon. Very sturdy, much better construction than I thought. I figured it would be a flimsy piece of pipe, but it’s not. Unscrews in the middle for easier storage or to carry in a gym bag. I have been extremely happy with this purchase. I showed it to my sister who then turned around and purchased one for herself and my brother-n-law. If you are getting into resistance band training, then I highly recommend this addition.

You can use any elastic or stretch tubing with this bar.For those of you who, like me, lack imagination and need some guidance there are numerous videos on YouTube to help you use this for getting into shape and easily maintaining it.The Bionic Body website has a great nutritional section that I found interesting and informative.There are a few negative reviews here about quality and the ability of this bar to maintain its integrity under load. These negative reviews are not at all correct. The bar is really solid.I would prefer to have a bar that is a wee bit longer but this has not interfered with effective workouts at all.If you lack a lot of storage space for gear, this is perfect for you. It breaks down in seconds and fits in a drawer or hangs in a closet.I travel a lot and the bar’s ability to break down to a manageable size and its 3 1/4 pound weight make it an excellent workout candidate for air travel. Add about 2 more pounds for a set of six workout tubes and a door anchor and you have a great in-room hotel gymnasium.I have been working out for the past 40 years and have tried a lot of different tools. I find that, coupled with a set of stretchable tubing, this has been my best workout equipment decision by far.
