Very Pleased with my HomeTro Walking Pad
I was extremely pleased with how quickly my HomeTro walking pad treadmill arrived at my home; it took only a few days. The packaging was excellent, ensuring that the product was protected during transit. I genuinely could not be happier with my purchase, as the treadmill is not only sturdy but also functions exactly as advertised.One of the standout features of this treadmill is its versatility—I can use it as a freestanding unit for a thorough workout or slide it under my desk for walking while I work. This dual functionality is perfect for keeping active throughout the day. Additionally, I specifically sought out a treadmill with a large LED display, which makes it easy to track my speed, distance, and calories burned at a glance.Storage was also a key consideration for me, and I am thrilled with how compact it is and easy to move. I really appreciate the convenience of the remote control, which allows me to adjust settings without having to get off the treadmill. Great treadmill for fitness anytime
I was looking for a treadmill without the price and bulk of a full unit. This treadmill ticks off several boxes, including the compact size that makes storing it easy (it slides right under the bed for us). The wheels help with maneuverability and the weight is sturdy enough for the workout, but doesn’t make it difficult to move the unit. The remote and touchscreen is simple to read and easy to use; the screen display shows your time, speed, distance and calories burned – I like that there is no extra clutter/buttons and I can see the basic info at a quick glance. I also like that there is an incline option by popping the stand legs out, to add a little more challenge to the workout. The quiet motor makes this a great option to use inside the house, especially when the weather is not ideal outside and my family is still asleep. Transition between the speeds is smooth and pausing makes a gradual slow down of speed before stopping. The package arrived promptly and was packed well; all parts were there, as well as an extra battery for the remote. Set up was simple – pull from box, plug in and it was ready to go.I appreciate that this gives me so many options for my workouts, fits practically anywhere for storage and was not a huge financial investment as I’m just getting back into a fitness routine.

Nice walking pad
Purchased this walking a couple of months ago after much research. I wanted a walking pad that was easy to move yet sturdy and I believe this one is both. I use it on a linoleum floor without any problem. It is not very loud, I would say the same loudness as a regular full size treadmill.Most importantly I feel secure walking on it. It takes some getting used to so start slow and then build speed as your comfort level increases. I think this is key. It came leveled for my use, does not wobble and the controls are very responsive. I use the remote and have had no trouble and enjoy being able to increase or decrease speed as I desire.The walking pad itself is nice and wide and plenty long for my long stride so I can actually walk comfortably. It does come with a bit of an incline than I wanted but was able to adjust for that.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and function of this unit. I would recommend to others looking for a stable, comfortable walking pad. For transparency I was asked to do a review but this is honestly my opinion of this pad.

Easy to use and maintain! Love the remote!
This walking pad is great, feels sturdy, and has a good speed. I use it primarily on rainy days or when I can’t get out. It works like a charm and is a great add-on. I can’t plug it in during work because my PC takes up too much power and this building in ancient but it’s helpful to stay in shape when you can’t get out to walk.

Parece que últimamente se han popularizado bastante las cintas andadoras, gracias principalmente a una considerable reducción de tamaño que las hace caber en muchos hogares, en contraposición a esos monstruos que se suelen ver en los gimnasios profesionales, y a su consiguiente bajada de precios que las hace asequibles casi para cualquiera. Sin duda una buena noticia.La que analizamos aquí, de la firma Hometro, es un ejemplo de esto. Con unas medidas muy ajustadas y un sistema de plegado bastante sencillo (con palomillas), cabe en casi cualquier casa y se puede meter debajo de una cama o sofá, apoyar en una pared, o incluso, como es mi caso, dejar abierta y lista para su uso sin que te ocupe una habitación entera. Una vez instalada, lo cual no requiere mucho tiempo ni pericia, es suficiente para una persona. Tenía un poco de miedo de que fuera demasiado pequeña para andar, pero no es así.Dispone de bastantes niveles de velocidad, desde muy lento a muy rápido, pasando por todos los niveles intermedios, pudiendo ser usada para andar o para correr. Con sus dos brazos laterales, te puedes agarrar a ellos y sentirte bastante cómodo mientras haces ejercicio. Yo le he hecho unos manguitos de toalla para los brazos porque cuando te sudan las manos es un poco incómodo. Además, cuenta con una cuerda de seguridad que va del aparato a tu ropa, para, en caso de necesidad, tirar de ella y parar así de inmediato el movimiento de la máquina.En la pantalla de abajo, junto a tus pies, en números bastante grandes puedes ir comprobando los típicos parámetros: nivel en el que te encuentras, tiempo transcurrido, distancia recorrida y calorías consumidas. Me hubiera gustado, eso sí, que estos datos se reflejaran también en la pantalla superior, que la tienes obviamente más cerca de tus ojos, pero no es así, sirviendo esta pantalla superior solamente para establecer el nivel de movimiento de la cinta. Éste se puede determinar saltando de dos en dos los niveles, del 2 al 4, del 4 al 6 y así sucesivamente, Pero para saltar por ejemplo del 4 al 5 hay que ir en saltitos de 0,1, lo cual es bastante tedioso. Hubiera sido mejor saltos de 0,5 en mi opinión.Pero son detalles menores. El principal cometido lo realiza muy bien esta Hometro. La cinta es cómoda, no se resbala en absoluto, no es nada ruidosa (lo es más cuanto más subas de nivel, pero no es para nada molesto) y tiene otros detalles, como una bandeja en la parte superior para colocar un teléfono o tableta y distraerte mientras haces ejercicio o para utilizar la correspondiente App que se puede descargar y hacer un seguimiento de diferentes entrenamientos. Es una lástima que el aparato mismo no tenga memoria para hacerte él mismo este seguimiento y tengas que recurrir a la app, de la misma manera que, si por cualquier razón, tienes que interrumpir el ejercicio, te pone el contador a cero y lo resetea, es decir, no cuenta con un botón de pausa.Tiene también programas para hacer variando la exigencia del ejercicio en cada periodo de tiempo, pero de momento estoy recuperando una pierna y sólo camino rápido. La aplicación, fitshow, trae también unos entrenamientos pregrabados, pero los puedes editar y modificar tú mismo. Para conectar la aplicación a la cinta hay que encenderla y enlazarla con la app por bluetooth cuando la detecta la app.En resumidas cuentas, la cinta andadora Hometro no me parece perfecta, pero sí es una excelente máquina que cumple sobradamente con lo principal que debe tener y por eso le pongo las 5 estrellas. Yo estoy muy satisfecha con la compra, y por otro lado el envío fue ultrarrápido y perfecto.Mis propuestas de mejora serían:- que se incluya una pausa y así no resetear la máquina cuando tienes que parar-que los datos permanezcan en la pantalla unos segundos para que tengas tiempo de verlos antes de apagar.-unos manguitos/funda de toalla para las agarraderas de las manos.-Saltos de velocidad de 0,5 en vez de 0,1.Hay algunas dudas sobre la información que se presenta en la base en cuanto a la distancia y las calorías. Es la información que se presenta en la parte derecha de la base. Aquí se alterna entre las dos. Al principio es confuso, pero tienes que fijarte en los números que hay después del punto. Si son dos dígitos, se refiere a la distancia. Si hay un solo dígito, son las calorías. Si ves 1.50 será un kilometro y medio. Si ves 1.5 es una caloría y media. Al empezar puede ser más confuso, pero después de un rato ya puedes ver que 300.2 no pueden ser 300 kilómetros de correr.

A mi parecer es cara para lo que ofrece. Si pesas sobre 100kg se llega a parar caminando, ya no imagino corriendo.La superficie se queda justa para andar, no la recomendaría para correr tampoco por este punto. El motor se ve flojo.Le sobran luces y pijadas.Como pro, es muy fácil de plegar, no hace falta herramienta. No pesa mucho (para ser una cinta) y viene montada. Se maneja fácil.
