Might be worthwhile, depending on your knee problem
The small size seems to concentrate the support to the patellar area. The area behind the knee is covered by a cloth, that might cause a little discomfort. The device seems to work well for my knee problem, reducing discomfort, and allowing me to walk extended distances.

Greatly reduced pain & stabilized knee, better than sleeve
At 74, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee. X-rays indicated my knee was bone on bone. I thought surely I was headed for a knee replacement.I ordered a sleeve from Amazon, and wore that until I saw the orthopedic sports medicine doctor. The sleeve helped some, but the specialist thought I might like this type brace better. She recommended I get the ChoPat, which I initially did. It was ok, but the straps were inches too short, leaving exposed Velcro that would only serve to snag my pants. I was going to exchange for a larger size, then I saw this one that was very similar, and almost half the price of the ChoPat.Bingo! This brace is very comfortable and gives far more relief than the sleeve. It doesnât push in the fat to leave a deep crease like the sleeve did midway up my thigh, because itâs much shorter than the sleeve. The straps are long enough to completely cover any Velcro. The Velcro has a very strong grip and there is no slippage, it stays put! And, itâs comfortable to wear, I forget Iâm wearing it. Itâs eased my pain tremendously and I just ordered a 2nd one as a back up. Iâm very pleased with this purchase.

Working for me, but needed next size up
I bought this to stabilize my knee. It has really helped. I measured and ordered a large, which was the size it stated I should need. However, that size was too tight once it was fastened around far enough to prevent the velcro loops from rubbing and scratching my skin. I returned the large and ordered the extra large. It fits well and has helped to reduce the pain in my knee and is helping me to be more mobile. Only one knee is problematic now, but I ordered a second extra large to try it on the other knee to see if it can help it with periodic arthritis pain. I tried compression sleeves and other braces before I bought this style. Iâm returning most of the others. This style has worked the best for me by far.

Sizing was accurate, like this style
As my measurement (15.0″) was at the top end of the Medium (15.25″), I also ordered a Large; the Medium is a better fit, so I’m returning the Large. Had a similar item that got lost but, as this style had worked well for me in the past (senior fitness & Zumba classes), I ordered this as a replacement.

Lifesaver!
Just ordered a second one as a backup when cleaning. I am about start PT, and older but not overweight. I have had inner knee issues for over 6 months, and this has kept me Pain Free while wearing….so much better than a compression sleeve.
