People having Pokémon-related weddings is nothing new. Plenty of franchise fans have tied the knot with nods to the Pokémon franchise, including using ring boxes shaped like Poké Balls, dressing like their favorite Pokémon, and even making things official with a series of Pokémon -branded wedding products. The trend is sure to continue for years to come, and yet another Pokémon-related marriage just took place.
Sandra and Les Dorgo are both Pokémon GO players, and they happened to meet through the app when looking to do a trade for Corsola. The pair decided to meet up in person to make the trade, and the sparks started to fly instantly. This get-together was the first of many, as the duo would end up traveling to Los Angeles, France and Mexico to catch Pokémon together.
After catching more than 600,000 Pokémon, the pair stopped Pokémon hunting for a minute to get engaged. News of this engagement made it all the way to the Pokémon GO team, who decided to fly the couple to the most recent Pokémon GO Fest and host their wedding there. As you can see above, even Pikachu was there to celebrate the union.
