After months of inflated pricing and limited availability, Nvidia’s latest RTX 50-series graphics cards are finally becoming more accessible to consumers. Earlier this month, both the RTX 5070 and 5060 Ti were spotted below MSRP at major retailers. Now, the RTX 5070 Ti has followed suit – and it’s available at a discount from two of the UK’s most trusted hardware outlets.
RTX 5070 Ti models fall below MSRP
Both models are priced below Nvidia’s official UK MSRP of £729, offering a modest but notable saving of around £30. With availability still fluctuating and demand remaining high for mid-to-high-end GPUs, these offers may not last long.
What you can expect from the RTX 5070 Ti
The RTX 5070 Ti sits firmly in the mid-to-high range of Nvidia’s current Blackwell lineup, offering a performance uplift over the standard 5070 and clear improvements over last generation’s RTX 4070 Ti.
Key specifications include:
- 8,960 CUDA cores – an increase of 1,280 over the RTX 4070 Ti
- 16GB of GDDR7 memory, delivering bandwidth of 896 GB/s
- Base clock of 2,295 MHz, with boost speeds up to 2,452 MHz
- Support for Nvidia’s latest DLSS 4 and ray tracing technologies
These specs make the 5070 Ti well-suited to high-fidelity 1440p gaming and even 4K gaming in many scenarios, as well as demanding content creation workloads.
Is this a sign of things to come?
At launch, the RTX 50-series was plagued by supply issues and significant price markups driven by scalpers. For example, the flagship RTX 5090 was at one point being resold for over $6,000 – triple its official MSRP of $1,999. But in recent weeks, prices have started to normalize across the range. The 5090 even dropped below MSRP briefly, suggesting a broader market correction is underway.
The discounted RTX 5070 Ti listings could mark the start of a new, more consumer-friendly pricing phase for Nvidia’s latest generation. With more cards expected to receive similar price adjustments, now may be the right time for gamers and PC builders to consider upgrading.
