CineD’s very own Nino Leitner, AAC, will take the Filmmaking Stage at the BILD Expo 2025, hosted by B&H at the Javits Center, New York City on Wednesday, June 18, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM with a brand-new session titled “Ready Creator One – Efficient Filmmaking in a Shifting Industry.”
In his presentation, Nino argues that today’s generative-AI moment mirrors the DSLR “Canon EOS 5D Revolution” that gave birth to cinema5D back in 2008: once-dismissed tools quickly become industry standards, leaving late adopters scrambling. In his words, “You’ll be out of business if you don’t adjust.” And the same is about to happen again. The upcoming session promises an unflinching look at AI’s challenges and a roadmap for turning fear into fuel.

Key takeaways you can expect
- Adoption → Innovation → Fear → and back again
Nino visualises the recurring cycle every tech shift triggers and explains how to stay on the right side of it. - Concrete use-cases across the workflow
Pre-production: script analysis, mood boards, and fast shot planning assisted by tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Production: AI-driven location intelligence and 3D pre-vis to stress-test creative ideas before the first battery is charged. Post-production: text-based assembly edits in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Avid; Magic Mask in Resolve 20 and Magnetic Mask in FCP 11 for one-click isolations; and restoration / up-rez pipelines that slash cleanup time by up to 40 percent. - The numbers behind the shift
The deck cites an AI-for-media market of $15.7 billion by year-end, 73% adoption among creators in 2024, and 40% time savings in post-production. - Human connection first
The talk underlines that AI “is powerful, but still just a tool.” Taste, judgment, and storytelling remain the differentiators that algorithms can’t replicate.
A wider BILD line-up worth catching
BILD isn’t just about Nino’s hour on stage. Keynote photographer Cristina Mittermeier will open Day 1 with “Between Two Worlds,” sharing conservation stories that blend art and activism. Animator-turned-educator Sir Wade dives into practical VFX tricks in “Beyond Motion Graphics.” National Geographic legend Ami Vitale returns with “Wild Hope: Stories That Drive Change,” proving that powerful visuals can spark global action. Documentary duo Paul Daniel and Chris Greer unpack their PBS series “View Finders” and the realities of filming on the road.
