Keeps my dog entertained!
I recently bought the TRIXIE Mad Scientist Turn Around Dog Puzzle Toy, and I can confidently say it’s my dog’s favorite! This puzzle is not only engaging but also challenging, keeping him entertained for a long time. The hard plastic construction makes it sturdy and a bit heavy, so it stays in place even when he’s eager to get his treats out. Heâs 80lb so This feature is a big plus for us. I highly recommend this puzzle toy.

Excellent stimulation for treats
I thought this might be a little difficult for my 8 week old puppy and my cat to figure out but both of them figured it out in record time. I just used my finger to show them what to do and they went right to it. They have fun twirling the little bottles around and getting a treat for their effort. I think it’s important to have puzzles for our fur family to figure out. It keeps a healthy brain. I would recommend this. It might be a bit small for larger breeds but will work for extra small to medium breeds.

JACKPOT!!
My dog ABSOLUTELY loves this thing! I donât even put the caps on because the bar makes it tricky enough with the size treats I put in. Itâs so fun to watch him and when first figured it out and a treat fell out I yelled JACKPOT! So we call it jackpot. $10 very well spent! Good for small dogs, luckily his head is small and heâs just about the same height as it.

Tricky Toy for Clever Dogs
I got this toy for my dog. I knew it would be a challenging toy for him and so it has proven. But heâs enjoyed playing with it, and the reward to effort ratio is such that he has remained enthusiastic when I load it and get it out.
The construction seems durable, and I like that I can revolve the test tubes for cleaning as necessary. I also appreciate that there are three levels of difficulty associated with the toy: you can have the tubes without caps, use the single hole tube caps, or the smaller three-hole tube caps.
Iâm not sure about the long-term ability of the toy to keep my dogâs attention but for now itâs working well.

Arrived broken
The weight in the bottom came broken and I am going to have to tape it to hold it in place. And no instructions. My dog loves it, but so was disappointed that it came broken

I donât understand why this is a frequently returned item, My Frenchie and mastiffs love this puzzle, so easy to put together. It kept my dogs busy for quite some time.

Great for taller dogs
Iâve got a small dog so he actually couldnât reach the top of it to smell it and wasnât figuring out he didnât need to grab it from the top. Itâs a more advanced puzzle for smaller dogs. There is some assembly required, my husband had to put it together for me. I gave it to a midsize dog and that one loves it!

Ok so I bought the small dog version for my rabbit actually and he has a blast with this!
I like that there are two types of covers, ones with larger holes and ones with smaller ones depending on how much food you want to have fall out – we have the smaller ones for our bunny so he doesn’t dump all the food or treats out in one go.
The base is also very sturdy, he’s never knocked it down and absolutely loves it when we bring it out for him to play with.
(Also a plus because he sort of looks like a twitchy mad scientist when he plays with it and it’s adorable)

O brinquedo é um ótimo produto para enriquecimento ambiental e alimentador lento. Demorou algumas vezes até meu cachorro pegar o jeito. Agora, cada vez que eu pego ele já fica super feliz e entende o que precisa fazer pra conseguir as rações.
Talvez seja muito grande para cães pequenos. Meu cachorro é um dachshund standard (o grandão) e ele faz toda a brincadeira com o focinho mesmo. Para alcançar com as patinhas já fica muito alto, então acredito que para um dach mini ou raças menores fique mais difÃcil ainda.
Vem com dois tipos de tampinha, com a abertura menor, para colocar grãos pequenos, e com abertura maior para grãos maiores. A estrutura é toda de plástico, mas é consideravelmente robusta e fica firme no chão (se o cão for muito grande e estabanado acredito que pode virar com facilidade, contudo).
