I have not been able to find a tab that attaches the cover to the litter box. As well as I can tell, it sits on top with an unfastenable tab on each side. My large cat sometimes knocks it askew.

The reason for the purchase was the convenience of the electronic cleaning feature. Unfortunately we had to turn it off because it would sweep mostly good litter into the pan.

This is a must have upgrade!
If your cat tries to dig to China like mine does then you need a lid. This fits perfectly. The bags are a perfect fit also. Wish the mat contained the tracked out litter a bit better but it’s still a good fit. Happy with this purchase.
