I’m so glad I brought this. Our puppies were inhaling food. And we don’t want to have to crate them during our dinner time. So the family eats together! They definitely take a good 15 to 20 minutes to find everything! And they find every last piece of food.It’s made for a much more enjoyable dinner time with my family to not have beggar puppies!

Greatest dog feeder ever! Do yourself a favor and buy one!
This is the only thing that can slow my puppy down from inhaling his food. It is very mentally stimulating for him to use and helps to zap his energy on days when it’s too cold to play outside as much as he’d like. The first feeding took about 45 minutes, he’s definitely gotten faster but it still takes him about 20 minutes per meal where it would take less than 2 if we fed him out of a traditional slow feeder bowl.

Hachiko Loves This!
We tend to get a lot of rain in the PNW; taking our Hachiko out for long walks doesnât workout so well. Hachiko is a mini-Aussie and they love & need a lot of mental stimulation. The Pet Arena Adjustable Snuffle Mat! This was over a year ago and Hachiko still loves it and is excited when I put it out for him. Sometimes I add just his kibbles, but often to surprise him I add small, high-value treats as well, just a few to keep his interest engaged.The mat is well constructed and adjustable. Hachiko being a smart little guy, requires that I tighten it at times, still to keep his interest and excitement. The felt fabric can be a hassle to separate, but eventually I learned to work with them..We love our little guy so much and it is so rewarding to know we are giving him a great life, even when the weather isnât so great.

Suction power???
I bought this at the recommendation of a friend. My dog LOVES it. The blue pieces are felt “tabs” that you spread apart to insert the food. I do not use wet food… it simply would not be an adventure for my inquisitive dog. I break down (smash) her dry treats and spread the crumbs throughout the tab pieces. She is occupied for a good 45 minutes. She then will go back to it four or five times during the day and the next day to search for more. It is very easily washed and retains its shape, and I wash it every other day since she slobbers on it pretty good. This is a very small one once I pulled the string to close it up a bit, but my dog is 10 pounds, so it works for her. Not sure what the suction part is about. It does have a non-slide bottom, but it still slides a little bit.

I give this product 6 stars! My 3 month old puppy loves it. He eats his food super fast so I have to give him several small meals a day but with this product he has to eat slow in order to find his food! Not only that but it keeps my crazy boy busy long enough for me to breathe lol. Best ever!
