Quick and Easy to Scoop and Bag!
This scooper is brilliant! I can scoop and bag in just a couple of motions without spilling. It is not perfect, but it as close as I have seen. Here are my issues: 1) The item arrived without the plastic bags – not a big concern for me as I have tons of bags that my newspapers arrive in, these work perfectly and are long enough to knot. 2) The bag will drag in the kitty litter while scooping if I don’t hold it up with my non-scoop holding hand – sometimes I just let it drag, it is going straight into the garbage, so not a big deal – I only mention it as someone else had listed this as a huge negative. 3) There is a slightly larger opening in the sifter area towards the front of the scoop – presumably to hang it on a nail. I find this hole too big as it lets some of the broken off clumps fall through – this is probably my biggest complaint with the scooper and it is minor. I do keep my old scooper around to do a pass through every so often to get some of these. In one review I read someone had mentioned that the clumps were too big to pass through the funnel part. That has not been my experience. Perhaps it is related to the type of litter used. I have used both clumping crystals and walnut shells with this scoop with no issues. My cat has kidney issues so huge volume of fluid. So in summary, this scooper is easy to use and makes an unpleasant chore a lot quicker with less risk of mess.

Great product, just not what I needed.
I have no issues with this product other than it is just too bulky to fit in my backpack for my cat. Its a great product for home but not necessarily needed because I have a litter Jeanne. If you have room its nice and sturdy and easy to use.

Great idea, needs some more work. Not for deep litter boxes
I purchased this for a rabbit cage, but I tried it out on my cat litter box first. The reason I purchased it….it was narrow and smaller. The litter box in the rabbit cage is much smaller so a wide litter scoop wouldn’t work properly. It was the only narrow scoop I could find. I did try it on the cat litter box first. I noticed two things….1) The bag drags the litter in the box 2) If you use it for a deep litter box, you have to scoop down, causing what you have already bagged to come right back out. I did try several ways of scooping and holding the bag, but it just kept coming out.If you are going to use it for a small animal, rabbit, ferret etc. It will work as those litter boxes tend to be more shallow and level scooping is easy. I do not recommend it for cats.

PERFECT
So this scoop is amazing. Scoop and direct to the bag with no hassle and no touching stinky poops. The neck of it could be a little bigger cause some clumps are too big to go down whole especially if you have giant dinosaur cats like mine. This bags that came with it are kinda trash but the biohazard bags I can get from work fit perfectly and theyâre nice and thick. Iâve also used it with plain old grocery bags but you gotta get the bag holding technique down. The only way it could be better is if they offered a second one that had fine screen mesh to scoop out the little bits that break off.

Good idea, but bad execution.
I thought this sounded great, and was eager to try it when I received it.There are a number of issues, with the two primary issues being:1. The handle/bagger is too narrow to accomodate the scooped urine-ball of my small cat.2. The sifter of the scoop allows too many large pieces of clumped litter to fall back into the box.The idea is good, and I guess it is good in a hurry; but, overall it doesn’t clean the litter box as well as it should and requires a person to push some clumps through the handle into the bag.Basically, it was a waste of money for me. It now sits in my garage after trying to use it a few times. For the $10 bucks and change I paid, it’s not worth hassling with paying postage to return it; but, I won’t be using it. It’ll either end up in a garage sale or in the trash eventually.Try the Litter Lifter if you want something that truly cleans the litter box quickly and well.

Good but not great
This does what it is intended to do, putting the waste directly into a bag. It does that well, however, I have been using another brand which is more tube shaped with the scoop portion a part of that tube shape. The bag hole is also bigger allowing larger clumps to slide through. It also has holes instead of slots which, in truth, allows less waste to fall back in the box. I no longer am able to find that product so purchased this one. Don’t get me wrong, this works but just not as good as the other brand.The bright spot is the bags provided with the scoop. I love the sip style closure. However money can be saved by using small garbage bags when you run out of the pack that comes with the scoop.I love the idea, this company works real hard at making a good scoop and since I no longer can find the other product this one will server my needs.

Fun to use
Fun to use. I have an electric litter pan but I do scoop the salad feces once a week. This device actually makes it fun to scoop the litter box. Can you scoop it goes down the funnel and into a plastic bag. Since I just received it I have the bag sent with the device but I can see where you could use any Ziploc baggie you might have. I would strongly recommend this to any cat owner. It is well worth the investment
