Very thick mat. Perfect for knee pain! Highly recommend
I wanted to test out this mat to see if it would be a good fit for my patients who have had knee replacements or who have knee pain and I am VERY impressed. It is extremely thick and comfortable. It is very comfortable to kneel on. I always have knee discomfort when practicing yoga and this solves the problem.One thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was it is slightly curled at the end of the mat due to being rolled up in the box. But after a day of the mat laying out flat in the floor, the mat is completely straight and flat now. So if you are concerned about this, it will flatten out.If you are looking for a high quality mat to make floor exercises easier, this is the perfect mat.

Great mat; easy on the joints!
Delivered on time & in good condition. No odor whatsoever, which I find to be quite remarkable. It’s a little hard getting used to balancing on a 1 inch thick mat, but as my body gets used to it I’m getting stronger and stronger, and balancing on my toes for certain Qi Gong exercises is getting easier. In general, working out, practicing qiGong or yoga stretches is a whole lot easier on my joints — a very welcome change from what I’ve been using previously.

Thick and comfy
The pad is thick by design and I chose it because of a back issue. The mat is very comfortable and I am pleased with it. I have to say that It is a bit awkward to carry around and it is hard to get it to lay flat when unrolled. But that is a minor inconvenience. I now can comfortably lay on my back to stretch and do various exercises. Isnât that what a pad is for?

Thick Cushion
This mat is very thick and your knees , elbows, back and delicate joints , bones, etc will love the thickness and softness of this mat. I love this part “Ideal Stretch Mat was tested and passed California prop 65 to ensure a healthier living.” Carcinogen free chemical products are an absolute must. I have excellent grip on this mat. I was worried, I would topple over standing on a mat this thick, but that has not been an issue. What I do not like is the box arrived damaged last night and when I unrolled the mat ~90% of the mat looked ok except the end of the mat. As you can see, there are several deep creases in the mat and brings up the longevity of this mat. I take into account the mat traveled a long distance rolled up for a some period time( a few days max) and perhaps the creases will lessen over time., However, the amount of time I will be using this mat, which will be daily and for several hours, I’m concerned that this mat may not stand the test of time and for ~$65 after taxes so, I expect this mat to last me a very long while, before needing replacement. Also, this mat will be rolled up nightly, so how long will this wonderfully thick mat last without falling apart? At this point, I’m very unsure about the longevity of this product. I do not like the elastic strap, because it has too much give. When you put the strap on the rolled up mat and carry it the mat is a little too heavy for this cheap elastic strap so you get gaps in the strap and the mat is not held as securely as you would want. The strap kinda of slides around the mat. Also, the strap was balled up and wrinkled up hidden in the mat folds. I was looking for it and it just fell out of one of the folds. This strap is very cheaply made and you could easily go to the nearest fabric store and get this elastic material and make your own of better quality. The manufacturer really cheaped- out on the strap. If you are charging ~$60 for the mat by itself before taxes, at least produce a good quality strap to transport the the main product. So for me 5 stars for the thickness and comfort of the this mat. You loose two stars , one for the creases and skeptical longevity of this mat and one for that cheaply made strap. I think itâs an excellent sit-up cushion!
Great exercise cushion. As a senior citizen, this one inch cushion is excellent. Itâs not so stiff or hard that you canât roll it up easily. Once rolled up, thereâs a simple fastening sling that keeps it rolled up in my bedroom closet well â

Good padding for wooden floors
Very pleased with the padding. Makes wooden floor work doable. Comes with a strap for transporting and storing. Not excessively thick when rolled up. Liked how there was almost no chemically smell unleashed from the packaging. Just aired out a couple days and no smell remained. Like others have said, I wish it was a bit wider as it’s a bit awkward getting up from it with bad knees and a bum elbow. But doable.

If you want extra padding
It is so much more comfortable to kneel on or lay on your side than the normal yoga mats. I do not do balance poses and they might be difficult due to its thickness. The only issue I have is that it doesn’t want to lay flat. I sewed a bag to carry it in so I did not use the provided strap.
